Chapter 1: Spider-bite

8 1/2 years later, A sound  of an alarm clock is going off which wakes up Peter Parker, our main character, he struggles to keep his eyes open. "Ugh..." Groaned Peter as he tries to shut off the alarm clock. Eventually he manages to shut it off, and gets ready for school. He then goes downstairs, where his aunt and uncle are doing what the instructions say, but peter doesn't get his instructions until he is 18. "Hey you two." Said Peter, "I'm heading off to school." He then misses the bus to school and chases after it. "Hey! Stop the bus!" Yelled Peter. The Bus driver then stopped and let peter in. "Thanks." Said Peter showing his gratitude. Peter then took a seat at the back of the bus, since he was considered an outcast. But he didn't mind since he's been different since he was a child, 8 1/2 years ago he lost his mother and his father due to unknown reasons.

He then arrives at bricksburg high, his high school, Peter didn't find it interesting at all. It was boring for him and it felt plain, he'd always anticipate what would happen and usually it end up being true. Today though, was field trip day to octane labs, so Peter didn't really mind the boringness of high school. As he was heading to the bus he spotted Emmet, A ordinary construction worker and his friend, he waves to Emmet and Emmet waved back. Peter then got onto the bus expecting to be at the back again, but this time he was seated at the front. "Wow, never usually get to ride in the front." Peter said in his mind. This was more true than he'd like to admit, ever since he was 6 he's been different from other kids. He was always a genius, able to solve complex math equations, remember things from history, and figure out whole chemical equations. While riding the bus on the way to octane labs peter thought to himself how much of a life changing opportunity it would be if he could get the attention of president business. But no he couldn't possibly get president business's attention.

Once arriving peter was the last to get off the bus, but he didn't mind since that's how it usually went. He then took out his camera and started shooting photos for the school papers, he used to this since he took a lot of pictures before. They then met the tour guide, who was a young female scientist named Sam. "Hello students of Bricksburg high, welcome to octane labs." Said Sam. "I hope you enjoy the tour." Sam the started leading the class into the lab, and Peter starts taking pictures. Sam then introduces the class to the genetically modified spiders, which freaks some of the students out. Peter however remains unfazed and keeps taking pictures, however, unbeknownst to anyone there an ordinary spider escapes and makes it way to Peter. Once reaching Peter the spider carefully crawls up his clothes and Peter is none the wiser, after reaching Peter sleeve the spider starts crawling to his hand. Peter then feels the spider but thinks its just a hair, and that gives the spider the opportunity to bite him. "Agh!" Yelled Peter swatting the spider. Peter then rejoins the group and tries to tell them what happened but no-one listens.

After the field trip Peter goes back home, kinda dizzy but also tired. Once inside his home his uncle Ben asks about the Octane science lab, and Peter responds that it was good but he's gonna go to sleep. "Ok, just remember to show us your pictures of the lab." Said uncle Ben, "Sure uncle Ben." responded peter. Peter then went into his room and passed out on the floor, he had a dream where Sam's words repeated about the genetically modified spiders and then he started seeing visions of himself. After these visions he woke up in a daze, wondering what those were he then looked at his claw hand and saw that they were not yellow but Tan. This freaked Peter out causing him to back into a wall, once he got a grip on the situation he realized he wasn't backed into a wall at all, he was on the ceiling. "W-what?" Peter asked himself, "How is this possible?" Peter soon got down, or fell down, and he slowly realized that his world may have just been turned upside down.
