What the Hell are We?

2 - i don't want to forget

My first interview was sooo short, MTV ended up just meeting me at the door of my room. i said Hi, did a small promo for the tour, and then blew a kiss goodbye.

"Okay, the boys are on their way to the car right now, so we are gonna meet them down there and go to set" Haleigh says leading me out of my room.

"So wait what are these interviews?" I ask her

"i think there is 3 or 4, but some will just ask questions and others might be games or something." She replies

I had to be escorted to the car because fans knew we were staying at this hotel somehow.

The security opened the door for me and i quickly stepped inside.

"Hey guys!" i smile as i sat down next to Matty

"Hey Ashley" He replies

"hey" Ryder smiles

"Hey you" Jackson laughs

"Are you ready for these interviews?" he continues

"oh my god i cannot wait" i laugh sarcastically

Our first interview was for MTV, it was a game of who's most likely to. The second interview was aweful for me. This woman kept asking me questions about the boys trying to get something juicy out of me, and they were just laughing at my answers because i couldn't stand it.

And the last two were very quick surprisingly. Just some stuff for promo i guess.

We had a quick lunch served to us in one of the interview rooms, and now we're on our way to stage prep for our performance tomorrow night.

The concert starts off as me being the opener. I sing a few of my songs from my album and then exit.

Then the band comes out and plays a few songs, then i come back out and sing with them for their song "Last Night."

I can't wait to finally perform this song live with them.

I met the band separately actually. I was at a friend's birthday party in LA and Matty (the bands drummer) and I started talking. I had no idea that he was Additive's drummer until i woke up the next morning... in his bed.

Horrible decision by me, but we have no problems with it, and honestly i don't know if he even remembers it was me.

Then 6 months later I got a call from my manager saying I had the opportunity to open for Addictive, and I said yes immediately.

I've loved their music for a while and we all get along great.

Jackson (the band lead singer) is the closest to me I'd say. We just get each other on a platonic level.

and Ryder (the guitarist) is really great too. He is super charming and outgoing, but definitely a flirt.

We got back on the bus around 4pm and started heading back to the hotel.

"so what's tonight's vibe" Jackson asks looking at us for answers.

"I say we keep it lowkey, we have the show tomorrow. nothing crazy" Ryder says

"he's right" i chime in
