Chapter 3

7 YEARS AGO...

AUTHOR'S POV

After the death of his parent when he was 15, he went through a depressing phase watching his brother being blank in their parents funeral without having any tears and their uncle taking over the business because marshell was just 17 and too young for business according to their uncle Connor Benz, younger brother of Bennett Benz.

Jacob is now 16 and right now sitting uncomfortably in the board meeting because his brother wants to take over the business.

"I think that Marshell is still young, 18 is not just a number , It is your age Marshell, right now you should have the thought of going to college and have some fun as ideal to your age, and here you want to sit in between the elders." Uncle Connor said with some hint of annoyance.

JACOB'S POV

"Well I already knew that our thinking capabilities is different but now I saw it too. My age doesn't matter, work does. I will make sure that my working capabilities are better than you as I will take over this company. Moreover, you were just guarding it but you could not even do that properly. Tell me- no tell everyone why after you just took it over the turnover dropped suddenly. This company which was always touching the skies in the hands of my father and grandfather is now going to touch the land."

"WHY IS THE COMPANY HAVING SO MANY LOSSES?" my brother didn't shout at all but the authority in his voice while throwing a bunch of papers in the face of my uncle showed the power he held among all of us. Even I shivered in my seat.

And after the lot of discussion meeting ended and the decision of making Marshell the CEO was final. Uncle left early after hearing the final and we both went home.

"Brother" I ended the silence in the car and he hummed.

"Today is your birthday and also you took over the company, Let's party and I will inform nick too." he chuckled but agreed.

We didn't slept all night, mainly me but Nick and marshell went to sleep.

I woke up after some sleep when my phone vibrated.

"Hello' I said sleepily without looking at the caller ID

"You picked up my I never thought you would" I immediately felt awake after listening to my uncle's voice

"Why are you calling me so early, everything settled and brother will take over the company as its CEO so what's the point of you calling me." I said boldly while tying to calm myself

"Now don't try to be so bold my little nephew" he said with a sickly sweet voice which I hate.

"Never call me again." I told him and hung up the call

Now I am fully awake and went downstairs after freshen up to have when my eyes fell on the figure sitting at the sofa, it was Uncle Connor. He sitting face to face with my brother talking and his eyes fell on me and smirked.

"I have a bad feeling about it." I thought to myself

They both stood to shake hands and left.

Marshell turned towards and I think he guessed my questions with the way I was looking at him.

"He wanted to talk about something important." he said

"About what?" I asked back

"He told me that the mass lossed has nothing to do with him and he wants to go to the branch in Australia" I was shocked to hear him, how can he change so quickly

"Do you believe him?" I questioned

"Of course not, but I want him away for sometime and I have some trustworthy people in there. So I decided to wait and watch." I nodded after hearing him

Nick came down from the guest room where he slept and we both went to school after having breakfast, on the way to school Nick kept chatting with his boyfriend Henry Miller, they both are together since the start of previous year and Nick seems very happy with it as it is his first boyfriend since he only dated girls before and as for me I am not even a little bit interested in dating. I don't have the heart to trust people but I don't mind having a little fun.

We arrived at school while I was still immersed in my thoughts, the driver stopped the car and we went to our respected class where none of us ever study.

After class me and Nick were going to washroom however in the hallway near the washroom we saw Henry kissing a girl and they both were so into it and I was so horrified that none of us notice when Nick took off his bag and flew it towards Henry's head. He fell down shocked and immediately turned his face towards us and I literally saw colour fading away from his face.

He stood up and started to walk towards us particularly towards Nick but he already left. I decided to give them some time and went inside washroom.

After coming out, I decided to talk to Nick and was going towards our class but fell sideways because some one pushed me. 

"SOMEONE PUSHED ME HOW DARE HE" I screamed in my head

I landed with a thud. I saw his face he was looking so handsome. But I stopped my fantasy.

"Hey I am sorry I didn't mean to-" he started after helping me get up
