I couldn't sleep all night, I felt so guilty for what I have said to Lisa. I felt like I'm the worst friend ever. I shouldn't told her how I felt at all...instead, I should keep it to myself.

"How am I gonna make it up with Lisa" I thought. I was about to sit down on my chair when I heard a knock on the door. I opened it to see that it was Lisa.

"What are you doing here?" I asked, she quickly hugged me tight right after I asked.

"I'm sorry about yesterday, I never had the intention to say that at all."

"No, it's fine! It's just some big misunderstanding. Plus, I'm the one who should be saying sorry." I said. "Just...come inside."

"Woah, you brought so many books." I was amazed.

"Hope you don't mind." She shot back with a sweet smile.

"No no! not at all."I replied back.

"Well I just need to take some time to revise." Lisa explained.

"Take it easy! sometimes you don't need to force yourself to train all the time, right?" I said, as Lisa chuckled.

"I guess you're right, I do need a break. but don't you have a violin competition also?" Lisa asked.

"Yeah but I'm not quite serious about it, I don't expect to win first place anyways."

"Why not? I'm sure you'll do a great job."

"Aww...You know what? I'll just make you pancakes as a reward for complimenting me." Both of us laughed, I walked out of my bedroom to my kitchen so that I could make pancakes for the two of us to eat.

Meanwhile Lisa waited in the bedroom revising and reading books for her exams, the eraser that was on the desk fell down under the bed. Lisa grabbed the eraser under the bed, she saw a purple journal with a polaroid picture of Seth on top. Lisa's eyes widened as she spotted the journal under the bed. Her curiosity piqued, she reached for it and pulled it out, her heart pounding in her chest. As she flipped through the pages, her eyes landed on the polaroid picture of Seth resting on top.

"What's this?" she murmured to herself

Lisa's mind raced as she processed what she had stumbled upon. She felt a mixture of shock, sadness, and confusion. How could Kat have kept this from her? And why was Seth's picture featured so prominently in the journal?

Lisa didn't notice Kat returning with a plate of pancakes until she heard her voice.

"Hey, pancakes are ready!" Kat announced cheerfully, but her smile faded as she saw the look on Lisa's face. "Is everything okay?" Lisa nodded.

In the middle of the night. Lisa faced towards me, appearing hesitating on something, did I do something wrong? She seems concerned.

"Kat..."

"Hm?"

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry about everything." Lisa apologized.

"Oh don't be serious about it, the past is in the past." I replied, Lisa fell asleep before she could answer me. Eventually, exhaustion took over, and I drifted off into an uneasy slumber. But even as sleep claimed me, I couldn't escape the sense of tension that hung in the air, a silent reminder of the unresolved issues between us.

If I stopped loving him...how easier would that be. Why?...does it have to be him among everyone, I wonder. Seth...

As the days grew warmer and longer, Seth and Lisa found themselves drawn to each other... Their relationship had blossomed into something deeper.
