"Just exactly what are you doing?"

From the tone of his voice, Y/N could tell Caelus was just as confused as March who was standing right next to him, watching as their new companion stands before them with a broom in hand

"it's a weapon"

"it's a broom"

"Okay listen I'm not trying to die in space, sue me for not wanting to die"

March 7th let's out a sigh as they continue their journey towards the elevator, encountering several goons from the anti matter legion who are swiftly dealt with by a bow using march, a bat wielding Caelus, and barely used broom wielding Y/N

Areiving at the Elevator, they encounter their first blockade to the master control zone.

"Eh, I knew it" March sighs out, crossing her arms

"Knew what?" Y/N asks, leaning over her shoulder to see the keypad in front of the elevator

"Nothing- I think the elevators broken, I press all the keys but they won't work" She explains turning to the both of them in the process.

"Any Idea why?"

"No, not really. Too bad Dan heng's not here, he's like a walking Book, maybe he knows something about elevator repair." March says, closing her eyes as if thinking strongly for a solution.

"I don't know that one" A new voice rings through the giant hall, turning around, Y/N finds the rumored person behind them having appeared as silently as ever.

March looks just as spooked as he was though, and jumps slightly at his voice "Oh aeons above- when did you get here?"

Dan heng looks as monotone as ever, black hair sitting atop his head and green eyes looking back at march 7th. Wearing a tight black shirt with a thin jacket hanging over his shoulders, reaching down to the back of his knees. On the bottom half, he was wearing grey pants together with black blue-ish boots.

"I took another route to the upper level and saw you from above" he stops to turn away from march, looking at Y/N instead "And who is this?" He says eyeing Y/N from head to toe.

Like he seriously needed to get a change of clothes

"I'm Y/N, nice to meet you" He says, taking the broom into his left hand to shake dan heng's hand with the right.

Dan heng nods in acknowledgement before introducing himself "I'm Dan Heng, also a member of the astral express crew."

"The what now?" Y/N knew he had to at least act like he didn't know who they were, already having delivered too vague of an 'explanation' to march 7th. It wouldn't be wise to gain Dan heng's suspicion, especially since he wouldn't let it go like march had.

March cuts into dan heng's word, explaining for him "The Astral express is a train that moves through space with the power of the trailblaze aeon" March starts, to which Dan Heng continues

"The members of the astral express travel on the path of the trailblaze and travel onboard the express."

"When we get back to the Main control zone you could come see it if you'd like?" March says, tilting her head, giving a small smile.

"Yeah that sounds nice, not that I have anywhere to be anyway."

That earns a side glance from Dan heng, but even though it looks like he's about to keep speaking about the topic, he says something else.

"Arlan is in the control room, he's injured, but not fatally" He says

"And your saying that now? Do you think he knows what to do about the elevator?" March says, commenting about the way we carried a whole conversation despite someone being injured.
