Hi, so I realize this probably isn't the most original idea, but hey, I'm trying. Um, this chapter won't be that long, but it's only the first. I promise all the other chapters will be longer. So I hope you enjoy it :) ~Stephanie
Harry had never really enjoyed school. He thought it was rather boring, but he didn't mind, much. He usually daydreamed in class. Never about anything in particular. He knew that he'd rather go to parties and play football for the rest of his life, rather than go to school. But, he was a senior now. A senior and a football team captain. Only one year left, and he was off to university. He sighed as the thoughts of university taunted him in the back of his mind. He didn't mind growing up and going to university, no. He just knew things would be a bit more difficult on his own. He pulled his duvet off of his body, shivering at the cold air that nipped at his skin. He walked into his bathroom, stripping from his boxers and stepped into the shower. He sighed feeling content as the warm water fell onto his his bare back. He quickly washed his hair, and body, before stepping out of the shower, and back into his bedroom. With a big, fluffy towel wrapped around his waist, he searched through his closet for something decent to wear, seeing as most of his clothes were scattered across his bedroom floor. Typical teenage boy. He settled for a white v-neck, some skinny jeans, and a pair of converse. He got dressed quickly, and headed downstairs into the kitchen where he found his mum setting down some pancakes onto the dining table. "Thank you, mum." he mumbled, kissing her cheek. "Welcome, love. Now, eat up. First day back at school, don't wanna be late." she smiled. He nodded, sighing, before scarfing down his pancakes. He hummed, as he put his dish in the sink, before kissing his mums cheek again, and heading out the door. He got into his car, and pulledout of the driveway, driving down the road in the direction of his school. As he arrived into the school parking lot, and parked his car, he groaned. "Another year of hell," he whispered to himself, before heading out. Only to be greeted by a bunch of his team members, as well as a few girls who daydreamed over him. If only they knew.. That's the thing about Harry.. Only a few people knew what he was really like. Only a few people knew who Harry really was. Most people can't see past his facade.
Louis' P.O.V.
"M-Mum," I groaned. "S-stop-p it p-please." She sighed. "I'm sorry, boo. I'm just trying to make sure you look alright for your first day back. I mean, you're a senior, now. And, I just don't want you to have to switch schools, again. I know it's hard.. But, I don't know, Louis. I'm just being a mum, is all." she muttered, ruffling my hair for the fifth time. I sighed. "I-it d-d-doesn-n't m-matter-r. I-I s-stutter, we k-know this-s. P-people w-w-will always m-make f-f-fun of-f me. I d-don't l-l-let it b-bother me any-ymore. I'm-m used t-to it." She looked at me with wary eyes. "That's the thing, Louis! You shouldn't be used to it! I know people can be harsh, and rude, and cruel, but you're no different than them! You're still a person! Do you want to get a speech teacher? Or anything that will help? Please, Louis. I will give you anything you want and need, I'm your mum, you should know I would do that, Lou Bear." she sighed, sadly. I grumbled, putting on my shoes. "B-bye. Mum-m." She sighed, in defeat. "Bye Lou. Be home before 5, alright. I'll tell your sisters you left for school already." she mumbled, kissing my head. I smiled, and walked out the door. I started off on the sidewalk, walking towards the school that was only haf a mile away. The air was sorta nippy, but I think I'll manage without a jacket. I shoved my hands into my pockets, and walked faster towards the school. As I neared the school, I saw there were a group of guys and girls, crowding around something. Or rather someone. "Hey! Calm down, alright? I've missed you all, but I'd enjoy some space." a voice said, somewhere in that small crowd. Assuming it's the person that they're all crowding around. I scurried past them, as I heard the morning bell ring. I headed towards, what I hoped was the office. As I walked in, I sighed in relief. Yup, this was the office. "Hello, anything I can do to help you?" asked a lady with wavy brown hair, and hazel eyes. "U-um. Y-yes. I'm n-new here. A-and I n-need my schedule." I muttered, looking at the ground. "Alright. You're.. Louis, correct?" she asked. I nodded. "Well, here you go. If you ever need anything, I'm Miss Calder, the school secretary." she smiled. I smiled back, weakly, and nodded, walking out. The second morning bell rang, meaning I was late. I groaned, walking faster. History. History. History. I took a deep breath, as I walked into the class. I felt the eyes of the other students burning a hole into my back, as the teacher looked at me. "Hello, you're a new student... Louis, yes?" I nodded, looking around the classroom. "Alright, you'r late, but seeing as it's your first day, I'll let it slide. Take any empty seat." I nodded, and looked around... There was a seat next to a blonde haired guy, with blue eyes. There was also a seat next to a guy with brown hair, and brown eyes. And the only other empty seat, was next to a girl with platinum blonde hair. I decided on sitting next to the guy with brown hair. He smiled a small smile, as I sat next to him. I smiled back in response, before focusing on the board. Before I knew it, history was over, and I was heading over to my next class. Calculus. But, before I went over, I decided to go over to my locker, and switch some of my books out. I put my history book into my locker, and traded it for my calculus textbook and my chemistry notebook. I closed his locker, and was about to head on over to my calculus class, before a hand stopped me. "Hey, I'm Liam," the brown haired boy introduced. "Um, h-hey. I'm-m L-Louis." I stuttered. Damn it. I'm hopeless. I sighed, and looked at my shoes, they seemed to be the most interesting thing in the world right now. I heard someone stutter a laugh, a few feet away. I looked up, and saw a tan, dark haired boy laughing, while looking at me. I sighed, feeling the tears well up in my eyes, but I managed to blink them away. Like I said, I'm used to this type of treatment. I looked at Liam, and saw he wasn't lauging.. He actually had a look of sympathy on his face. "Don't listen to Zayn, he's a jerk, anyways." he muttered. "W-what?" I asked. "I said, don't listen to Zayn, y'know the lad who was laughing at you. Yeah, he's on the football team, and he's pretty good at it, it's his personality that's horrible." he muttered, grabbing my schedule from my hands. "Looks like we have most of our classes together, except for chemistry, and biology. But, Niall has those classes. He's a nice lad, on the football team as well, but still a nice lad. In case you were wondering." I looked at him in awe. "W-why are y-you even talking to m-m-me?" I asked. "What do you mean?" he asked, leading me towards our next class. "M-My sp-speech. M-Most p-p-people m-make fun of m-me for it." He looked at me curiously. "So? I don't think there's anything wrong with you. You seem like a nice lad." he said as we arrived at the class. "T-Thank you Liam-m." he smiled. We sat down next to each other, right as the bell rung. People rushed into the classroom, but the only guy I took notice of, was the curly haired lad that took a seat, right next to me. He was quite the looker. I searched through my book bag, for some scratch paper. I grabbed a marker, and quickly scribbled. Liam, who's the curly-haired guy? before passing to to him. He read it over, before smirking and writing something down. Harry Styles, captain of the football team, why? Do you fancy him? I felt my eyes widen, as my cheeks heated up rather fast. I don't know. Maybe? I just think he's quite cute. You don't have a problem with that do you? Y'know.. Me being gay? he passed it back to Liam. After reading it over, Liam shot Louis a look of horror and mock offense. No! Of course not! There's nothing wrong with being gay, Lou. I read it over, and hummed. Just making sure.. I can already tell most people are homophobes, at this place, just from the looks I've gotten on the way I dressed.. I guess wearing bright red pants, a striped shirt, suspenders, and TOMS aren't the best way to at least act like I'm straight, was it? Liam read it, and I could tell he wanted to laugh. Nope. But you can give it another go tomorrow. Now stop passing me notes before we get in trouble! I looked at him and nodded. I glanced at the curly haired lad beside me, and saw that he had this dazed look on his face. Weird. I took a look at the board and sighed opening my notebook, beginning to scribble down some of the notes.
Harry's P.O.V.
I mentally rolled my eyes as class went on. Absolutely boring. I don't really care about this, to be honest. I let my eyes scan the class, Zayn was making googly eyes at Perrie. Niall was secretly on his phone, doing who knows what. Ed was tapping his pencil against his desk. Taylor was humming a song. Then I let my eyes drop onto the lad next to me. Bright red trousers, striped shirt, braces, and TOMS. Sandy brown hair. Tan. Toned arms. And, my god, gorgeous blue eyes. I looked into them, as he stared back at me. Wow. "Mr. Styles!" I blinked, and looked up at Ms. Caroline. "Erm, yes?" "If you have no interests in this class, I suggest you leave." I sighed. "Sorry. Just a bit off today, s'all." I mumbled. "Yes. Well, don't let it happen again." She said, returning to the front of the room. I nodded. Great, Harry. Just great.. I looked back at the boy, he was still looking at me, but a faint blush covered his cheeks. He looks adorable. I mentally rolled my eyes. God, stop being so gay, Harry. I chuckled. I can't really do anything about that, actually. I smiled as the bell rang. I watched as the gorgeous boy grabbed his book bag, and headed out of the classrom, not before stumbling over his own two feet and falling. I rushed over to his side. "Hey, you okay?" He looked up at me, as if in awe, and nodded. I helped him up, and said. "Well, erm, what's your name? If you don't mind me asking.. I've never seen you around before." I watched as his adam's apple bobbed up and down, as he hesitated to answer. "Louis.. I-I'm n-new he-here" Stutter, cute. Different, but definitely cute. I chuckled. "I'm Harry. Nice stutter." I watched as a rosy tint made its way onto his cheeks, and his eyes got slightly watery. My eyes widened. "No! I uh, I didn't mean it in a way to offend you. It's fine. Nothing to be embarassed about." He looked up into my eyes, "N-no. It's f-fine." he mumbled, rushing past me. I groaned. "Wonderful. Just fucking wonderful." I muttered.
