Diana looked through the latest report from IRAC. There were a few cases there that only barely sparked her interest. The most interesting being a case that involved counterfeit money. IRAC had cross referenced several databases and isolated a possible location to do surveillance on very close to IADC headquarters.
"What better place to print counterfeit money than right in our own backyard." Diana murmured to herself.
Just then her desk phone rang.
"Diana, this is General Johnson. I need to put you on a short special assignment. No recruits on this one. Set your cases aside for today." The General barked without taking a breath.
Diana noted the urgency in his voice, but before she could respond, he hastily added, "Meet me in my office right away, Diana."
The line went dead before Diana could say a word. She slowly placed the receiver back in its cradle, contemplating the General's words. Diana had always been called for special assignments before yet there was something unusual about this one that made her body tingle with anticipation. Her heart began to race as she stood up and straightened her skirt, smoothing out any wrinkles before checking the buttons on her blouse.
"What's the assignment General?" Diana said as she breezed into his office.
The old gruff General had a thick white mustache that matched his short white military haircut. He was usually very direct.
"Diana, always so prompt," The General smiled.
Diana inclined her head in his direction. Her long dark hair was pulled back in a sleek ponytail that accentuated her sharp cheekbones and bright blue eyes. Her body was beyond compare, with her huge 54FF cup breasts and toned muscles that were barely contained by her white blouse and black business suit. In addition, her long, toned legs were showcased perfectly by her black high heels.
"General, what is this special assignment?" Diana asked, working to keep her voice steady despite the butterflies in her stomach.
The General turned serious. "There's been a report of a military warlord from a foreign country vacationing at our local beach. We just need verification from someone we trust and well, I thought after that last case this would be a nice break."
Diana nodded, "Why me though General?" She asked.
"Because Diana, your body in a swimsuit would be the perfect cover," the General answered with a knowing smile.
"General, I don't understand," Diana replied, trying to keep her focus.
Chewing on his cigar, the General explained, "We need you to go undercover as a beachgoer and keep an eye on this warlord character. He's been visiting our shores, and we want to make sure he doesn't have any ulterior motives."
Diana raised an eyebrow. "Undercover as a beachgoer?" she repeated, trying to picture herself in such a role.
Diana was not shy, but being in a swimsuit while on a mission was definitely a first for her.
"I don't have any beachwear with me, General," Diana admitted, trying to think of how to proceed.
The General waved his hand dismissively. "I'll have one of my aides bring you some options. All you have to do is choose one and report to the beach immediately."
Diana nodded, understanding the gravity of the situation. "Understood, General. I'll head to the beach right away."
Diana left the General's office, her mind racing. She had never gone undercover as a beachgoer before, and she wasn't sure what to expect. She made her way to her office to change into her swimsuit.
An hour later Diana was exiting her car at the beach parking lot. She glanced around at her proximity to the pier as she closed the door. She wore a loose cover shirt over her IADC issued swimwear.
