I Ride A Losing Horse - Poem.
In the realm of dreams, I chose my steed,
A horse of chance, with uncertain speed.
Its mane of doubt, its hooves unsure,
Yet still, I ride, my heart impure.

For in my quest for glory's embrace,
I sought a mount to win the race.
But as we gallop through the fray,
I see the signs of our dismay.

The fault, my own, I must confess,
For choosing this steed in my quest.
Yet still, I yearn for swifter pace,
To claim the prize, to win the race.

But credit due, I cannot fake,
For the horse's speed, my choice did make.
So onward we ride, through triumph and remorse,
I ride a losing horse, my chosen course.
