December 16th, The day my life would turn upside down. As I arrived at the orphanage as an 8 year old, "you must be Bellisma, your name means beauty." Ms.Mari said. I looked down not knowing what to say or feel, I was just 8 and had just lost my parents 3 days ago. "In here we share, give me your necklace." "W-what... this was my mother's.." I held on to the butterfly necklace, "Alan Grab it" she said as a boy around my age came up to me snatching it from my neck... I couldn't stop him but only stare at the pale boy, he was mysterious almost like a book you wanted to read but you were scared of the ending that you could almost make out.

18 years later

"Are you scared Bellisma?" My bestfriend flora asked me, "I promise to visit you flora." "Don't.... Just get as far as you can from this place and don't look back, don't worry I'll be fine and so will you." I hugged her, she was my sister in here... "I couldn't have survived without you.. thank you for everything flora." She took my hand kissing it, "Thank you Bellisma, I didn't die of boredom atleast" she tried to lighten up the mood.

I left the room and walked down the halls, I didn't look back I didn't allow myself to.
"You must be Bellisma! I'm Aurora and this is Noah" a blonde lady with blue eyes said to me with a warm smile, she looked exactly like Aurora from the book sleeping beauty, like a princess from a fairytale..
Before I could speak we heard a gorgeous sound, it was piano and I knew exactly who it was..... they followed the noise and there was Alan playing the piano.  They loved him so much they adopted both of us, the car ride was silent.... I felt him look at me and then look away, I couldn't help but look at him and then look away.

"This is your new room Bella, I hope you like it" Aurora said, "I haven't had my own room in forever, it's perfect Aurora thank you" I turned to her with a giant smile. Thats when it hit me, I was never going back to that place.. to the place that brought me fear, depression, anxiety and so much more. I was free, free from Ms.Mari and from her abuse...
