Reaching home, I found my dad and mom sitting in the couch discussing something. I reached them, gave them a kiss in the cheek and was on my way to my room. But before I reached the stairs, they told me that they had something important to talk about after I freshen up. So I went to freshen up quickly and reached the living room. They gestured me to sit in one of the couches. I sat and waited for them to speak. They were still talking in their eyes. I cleared my throat to get their attention.
"Yn, there is a dinner with my closest friend tonight at 7:30 pm..... Be ready and the dress will be sent to you in the room..." My dad said while my mom nodded.
"Ok dad" I replied and went to my room to study.
