<CHANGING THE BULLY>

[chapter 5]

I
The sun rays hits every student passing by, starting another day of school and endless lessons.

Athara's POV

I don't feel like going to school today, must be because of my cold or...Akira.

Athara's classroom was already starting to be filled with students along with noise due to students chatting and playing since their teacher still haven't arrived yet.

Everyone was having fun exept for Akira who perhaps was wondering why his seatmate, Athara is not there yet even though she is always early.

The noise was stopped after someone shouted—

"MRS. DE GUZMAN IS COMING!!"

Everyone then had their mouth shut.

Raven's POV

I didn't see Athara today huh?? maybe she's absent? Nahh she was always coming to school..

At this time everyone should be starting their classes, also Aki's class, exept for him who kept waiting for Ara, believing she was just late. Not only he was bothered by this, even his sister was.

Athara's POV

My body was burning hot and my head was spinning , as I got out of my bed my vision turned blurry causing my headache to worsen. Since my parents are out of town, I was the only one in the house , meaning I have to handle this situation by myself.. no matter what.

I decided to go to school after eating lunch at home, I couldn't finish a day without going to school , especially
not missing on math class.

I took a bath.. QUICKLY BECAUSE CLASS IS ALREADY STARTING!

My energy was not enough to put on make up and accessories, so yeah.. I rushed to school looking like a complete mess..

"I'M SORRY I'M LATE!"

the class was shocked to see Ara panting as she held onto the door.
 
"Sit down."

Their teacher gently mumbles without even taking a glance at anything exept what she was writing at the board.

Akira's POV

"waaa, I forgot my water"

I can clearly hear her sigh while still panting, not hesitating I decided to give her mine.

" Have my water.."

while looking away I gave her my water wich was not even touched this whole morning since I was just here in the classroom sitting.

She look up at me and tilt her head slowly

"Uh thank you?"

I sigh and glare at her, what the fck is happening to my mind..

After hours of teaching the class finally ended , with the students leaving one after another. That's all left, Aki and Ara, also Raven.

Athara's POV

I was hesitant earlier about taking Aki's water since it wasn't even touched like the whole bottle was filled with water.. not gonna lie I'm concerned about his health

With shaky hands, I walk over to Aki to return his tumbler.

" Aki?, here, thank you"

I put up a gentle smile on my face after returning the tumbler to Aki.

"Yeah , yeah.. go away"

He says in a very tired voice while still laying down on the table in the empty classroom.

"Sup Ara!!!"

Akira's POV

There she is again, ugh I hate my sister so much.

"Raven! Hai!"

While listening to their chitchat, I fidget my fingers out of boredom, then just decided to go home, without my sister.

And so, everyone went home, Akira layed down on the bed having deep thoughts, while Ara just writing and studying for the upcoming exam.

The upcoming Friday was Raven's competition in sports which is volleyball , everyone already knew , exept for Ara since she was drowning her brain into her studies and academic performances.

Athara's POV

I sat up again after putting my papers aside , I have just finished answering almost all of the assignments that I have missed. After turning off my lamp, I let the wind from outside the window brush through my hair while fall into a peaceful sleep.

Just exactly at 2am I felt hunger and decided to get up for cookies and water. In the middle of the crunching sounds of my chewing, I saw a tall black figure on the window, knocking.

Everyone in the house was asleep so how could there be a person standing on the window? While wondering, the figure mysteriously moved a little and spoke.

"Ara , let me in"

A whisper came out of the dark.

it was not long after I realized who it was.

"Aki?!"
