Spoiler warning for "Once upon a time" side story!

Okay so, through the new side stories, we found following out:
•Avillon hasn't had a king for a long time
•The last king (probably Rouin) dissappeared
•It hasn't been made public that an heir was chosen

So, how did our dearest MC, Lord, get chosen as the heir? It's a very good question. My guess is that either the people in the castle chose Lord as the heir, or Lord chose themselves. Now, let me explain the second option further.

Imagine Lord just popping into the castle, and pronouncing themselves heir. Not really realistic, right? But what if Lord came there as a normal person, did some work wonderfully, gained the trust of the people there and one day they got called future monarch and just went with it? Yes, technically it wasn't them, but still. It would be fun, wouldn't it? And I feel like some people definitly would've just addressed him as heir one day for absolutely no reason.

I apologize for any grammar mistakes, I'm writing this at school, outside with loud music playing. I can't feel my hands, so I'm genuinly sorry if there are any mistakes. And I'm also sorry for the weird theory, I am sleep deprived and dehydrated.
