Chapter 15

~ 3rd Person POV ~

" Kookie!!! Wake up!" A voice said as they woke Jungkook from his nap. He needed a nap after what happened a few hours ago with Taehyung

" Mhm, what is it?" Jungkook said while looking at him. " Come on, today is the day we go and see put parents. I think I saw your parents " Jimin said while getting off of his bed and walking away

Jungkook groaned a little got out of bed. He still looked decent so he put on his shoes and fixed his hair a little

He hasn't seen both of his parents in almost 6 months. They've been busy with work and Jungkook has been a little busy with his studies

" Hey mom...hi dad," Jungkook said as he smiled at his parents. His mom smiled and hugged him hard. He wrapped his arms around her and hugged her back

" Hello, sweetie!! How are you? How are your studies?" Jungkook's mom said as she placed her hands on his chubby cheeks

" My studies are doing fine mom, don't worry. I'm doing perfectly fine" Jungkook said while looking at her

" Hey Dad," Jungkook said as he looked at his Dad

" A doctor would have been better " Jungkook's dad and the boy looked at him with sadness a little

Jungkook's Dad was never into Jungkook studying Literature. He would have rather much preferred his son to study in the medical field

" Ah, Dad...You say the same thing when you see me" Jungkook said while looking at his Dad. Jungkook loved his Dad with all of his heart but it seems like his own Dad couldn't accept his passion

" Jungyeon, our sons want to major in Literature, let him follow his passion. We've raised him well, it's time to let him go. Stop forcing your dreams on him" Jungkook's mom said and Jungkook smiled

" Thank you, mom," Jungkook said while kissing her in the cheek. His mom ruffled his hair while smiling

" So, what are you both doing here," He said and Jungkook mom smiled a little

" We were going out of town and we happened to pass by," She said and Jungkook understood. He did miss his mom a lot

" So honey, are you dating anyone? Have you met anyone lately?" Jungkook's mom said, the boy sat down and shook his head no

" What about that girl named Rosie? She was a sweet girl " Jungkook's Dad said and Jungkook shook his head no

" Dad no, I don't like her in that way. She is always flirting with me and never gives me any type of space " Jungkook said and his dad sighed

" That doesn't matter, she's a great girl. She has a lot going for herself. Why can't you just like her?"

" Do you want our son to be miserable? " Jungkook's mom said while looking at her husband. Jungkook sighed and placed his hand over his face

All he wanted to do is see his parents and have a decent conversation with them but his Dad was making everything harder for him to not get upset

" What? Of course but Jungkook needs to date a nice girl and settles down. He is 18" His Dad said and Jungkook sighed, looking at his mom for help

" Honey...If Jungkook dates and marries a girl that he doesn't like, he will grow old and miserable. You might as well let him date who he wants " His Mom said as he kissed him on the forehead

" I'm going to the car," His Dad said before walking to the car. Jungkook sighed a little and his mom smiled sadly at him

" I'm sorry about your Dad sweetie," She said while kissing his hand. Jungkook's mom was always supportive of him. He gets his loving traits from her

" Have you sound a boyfriend yet?" She said and Jungkook shook his head no. She kissed him on the forehead

" You'll find someone Kookie, don't worry, " She said while ruffling his hair a little

" I have to get going but, pay attention and make sure your grade average is at least a C, " She said giggling a little and kissed his forehead

" Goodbye Kookie, have a good time. I love you " She said smiling at him before walking away

" I love you too Mom "
