Bakugo x Reader fluff!

This is a Bakugo comfort oneshot but im thinking of turnng this into a book if you enjoy it!

Everyone is real. Everyone has their own thoughts, emotions, interests. Everyone writes their OWN story. However, whether you like it or not, you can't be with everyone. In this universe, there are many different worlds and where you're born is where you'll spend the rest of your life. Not a single soul knew of these other worlds just out of reach, all people knew about where tv characters they adored watching, living their written life in an over romanticised world. Peoples drama, hard experiences, lovable personalities were unknowingly turned into TV shows for people in another, existing universe.

There was a new programme recently released and the whole of U.A. was watching. Whenever the heroes in training weren't busy with classwork or excising their quirks, they were watching and fangirling over this show, admiring their favourite characters and having debates over who's the best. Bakugou, however, was never one to involve himself in those conversations. Apart from his best friend, no one was aware he even watched the show. nonetheless, the programme meant a lot more to him than he ever showed.

There's a certain character he couldn't help but think about. During breakfast. In the shower. In class. During workouts. Even during training and when he was in the middle of homework, you invaded his mind and it was starting to piss him off. He wouldn't care too much if he hated you and had a long list of reasons why he was better than you, but the fact it was the complete opposite bothered him greatly. When you were in his mind, the feelings he spent years burying freed themself from the deepest, loneliest parts of him. The emotions he thought made someone weak would flood his heart every time he saw you and he hated you for it. However, the worst part was that he couldn't even tell you just how much he despised you, or yell at you for always being a distraction. He couldn't even insult your stupid, cute smile that made his heart stop because no matter how much he wished otherwise, you two would always be separated by a screen.

The clock now read 12:05am and the explosive boy couldn't sleep. Just like every other night, he had brushed his teeth and pulled on his pyjamas ready to get some rest but as soon as the dorm light switched off, his thoughts came slipping through. His worries, his unmentioned pain, the guilt, the overwhelming stress to be the best, all of it flooded his brain and before he knew it, his walls broke down.

Bakugo sat with his back against the wall, arms tightly wrapped around his pillow as tears streamed down his soft cheeks. His hands shook from the firm grip he had on the material, causing his muscles to turn white.

If you were real, would you be ashamed of him right now?

Would you laugh at him and think he was weak?

Would you pity him?

Would you tell everyone about this unseen side of him?

...Why weren't you real?

He needs you, and you're not here for him.

You're not telling him its okay. You're not telling him he's a strong hero and hes making you proud. You're not telling him you're there for him no matter what. You're stuck behind a stupid screen. Just out of his reach.

Katsuki's heart clenched as more tears fell. Burying his face into the pillow, a silent sob left his mouth as his tense muscles shook, having no one to sooth the pain the hero in training was going through. His chest felt heavy and his lungs hurt, the air feeling thick and hard to carry in his lungs. His head was spinning and his eyes were now puffy, cheeks damp and red from all the crying.
