So if you know this episode revolved around DJ but I'm going to make it about Jessica instead because I feel like her and Jeese would relate a lot to this than Jesse and DJ. Michelle enters the living room from the kitchen, with a sandwich for Joey. What he doesn't know is that it contains bananas, pickles, , and bubble gum; the last of which can be noticed as Joey blows a bubble. Michelle tells him, "Don't play with your food," to which he replies with one of herrecurring phrases, "Aw, nuts!

We find the family in the kitchen.
Jesse: Alright Munchkins! We got your chocolate moo juice here! Extra Chocolate! Easy on the moo.
Stephanie: Thanks Uncle Jesse!
Joey comes in...
Joey: Hey everybody! Guess what Michelle? I got you a tape of children's songs by Raphie.
Michelle: Thank you. What is a Raphie?
Joey: He's the guy who sings "Baby Baluga".
Stephanie: Oh I used to love that song! Dad remember our dance. Come on let's show Michelle.
Danny: Oh this will be fun...
Joey: I'll put it here in your baby boom box.
Danny: Ok Joey. Let's Rock and Roll!
They sing Baby Baluga, Michelle's smiling, Until Joey starts spitting water and Stephanie and Danny stare at him...
Jesse: This is just great! I got the Baby Baluga dancers and I'm drinking Moo Juice! When did my life become a G rated movie?!

Jessica and Annie walk in...
Jesse: Hey. Where have you been?
Jessica and Annie: Hey. Afterschool
Danny: Girls. How about a little "Hello! How was your day?"
Jessica: No time to talk our first school dance is coming up and we have to ask a boy to the dance
Jesse: a boy?
Joey: What about your homework?
Kimmy: If we do our homework now what will we do while they take attendance?
Jesse: I'm still stuck on the word "boy"
Jessica: Don't worry about me. I'm almost finished.
Jesse: Oh yeah? Let's see it then.
Jessica: Did I say almost finished? I meant almost STARTED!!!

Later in Stephanie and DJ's bedroom...
Annie: (on the phone) The dance is next Friday. Don't be late. (she hangs up the phone) I just asked out
DJ: Alright! How about you Jessica?
Jessica: I don't know I'm nervous
Dj: well who do you like at your school
Jessica?
Jessica: Well, This is a backwards dance. That means we have to get some guys to be our dates.
Annie: I know, you can Call up Nick.
Stephanie: who's Nick?
Jessica: none of your business
Annie.: just a guy Jessica has a thing for
Jessica: Annie.!
Annie: well you do
Stephanie: ooo... why don't you ask him!
Jessica: because I never asked a guy out before
Stephanie: I can do that for you, what's his number
Jessica: that's great and all Steph but I rather take myself to the dance
D.J.: you can't do that, then you will be the only girl with no date
Jessica: then I wont go
D.J.: Jessica...

Jessica left the room and heads to her and her dad's room.

Annie: guys, we have to do something, I don't want Jessica to be the only one without a date
D.J: do you have the guy number?
Annie: of course I do. It's 555-0214
Stephanie: how do you know his number?
Annie: his best friend gave it to me. He's the dude I asked for my date
D.J. : Hi this is D.J Tanner and I was wondering if you'd like to go to the Backwards Dance with my lovely cousin Jessica, really? Great! I will let her know you will pick her up at what time?

Annie and Stephanie silently cheered to themselves!

With Jessica:
Jessica sighs sitting on her bed in her and Jesse's room that was big enough for the both of them.

Jeese: is everything okay in here?
Jessica: everything perfectly fine
Jesse: Jessica, we need to talk
Jessica: do we have too?
Jesse: yes we do...

The sit down on his bed.

Jesse: I'm not sure how I feel about you going to the dance
Jessica: you don't have to worry about no dance because I'm not going
Jesse: *says to himself: thank god* why not?
Jessica: because dances are stupid and this would be my first one and I only been to this school for almost 3 years and I don't even know anybody.
Jesse: *sighs* I can't believe I'm saying this, but- I think you should go to the dance
Jessica: why...
Jesse: Jessica... I always feel guilty for dragging you on the roads a lot when you should have been in a real school
Jessica: homeschool life was pretty cool
Jesse: but did you learn anything
Jessica: no... I'm surprised I'm even passing the 4th grade
Jesse: me too
Jessica: okay... I'll go to the stupid dance.
Jesse: atta girl
Jessica: just one problem, I don't have a date to the school dance. I'm supposed to ask a boy
D.J.: *comes in* that's not issue anymore. I called up Nick and he said yes
Jessica: how do you know about Nick and how did you even get his number?
Annie: from me, your best friend in the entire world! Now we both got dates. Oh and we also need chaperones Mr. K
Jessica: Annie!
Jesse: of course you do, I promise I wont embarrassed you
Jessica: that's not what I'm worried about. I'm worried my classmates wont stop staring at you
Annie: it means they have a thing for you
Jesse: I'll try to look less attractive
Jessica: that's impossible
