Author: so I have a funny story before this starts, I got into Haikyu through Yuri on Ice and The Promised Neverland (my favorite anime) but I first watched it through YOI and I'm like who the fuck are these people and now I have spent around 50 dollars on Haikyu mangas and I love every second of reading it so that's why this story might fit the manga better than the anime.

Lev POV
I waited at the bus stop for my parents or maybe Kuroo to pick me up. "Lev?" A female voice said. I turned around and saw my girlfriend looking at me. Oh how much I love her. "Yes Yachi" I said. She sat down next to me. "Who are you waiting for?" She asked. I grabbed her hand and kissed her forehead. "My parents or maybe Kuroo" She chucked and snuggled into me. When I opened my eyes I saw my papa ranting in Russian so fast I could only make out a few words. "Don't wake up Yak--I mean Yachi" I said. God, I feel so guilty whenever I called Yachi (or tachihara according to autocorrect) by Yaku's name. We broke up when he had to move to finish his last year of high school. My dad hugged me and kissed my forehead. Only he knew how much that break up affected me. "Sorry for sleeping on you Lev" Yachi apologized while she slowly opened her eyes. "Its fine," I told her with a smile. "Who are they?" She asked. "My parents" I said with a proud smile. She looked at me and smiled hugged me. "At least someone in this family likes girls" Papa said. Yachi laughed. Dig my grave book a funeral that was the most beautiful thing known to human kind. "Do you want to come over for dinner?" Dad asked. ········································································ Info: Papa: Victor Dad: Yuri Yaku thing: his grades started to go down so his mom sent him to a different school to finish How Yachi and Lev got together: Karasuno and Nekoma (or Monoma according to autocorrect) had a match on Valentines day. ········································································ Yachi nodded her head as we all started walking to our house. He hair was out of a ponytail and it blew in the wind. She was so pretty, I don't know what she sees in me; tall, Russian, idiot, volleyball player. Whenever I looked at my photos all I saw was Yachi I mean I have 508 photos of the angel I call my girlfriend. "Lev, are you alright?" Dad asked me. I nodded. Once we got there everyone took off their shoes and sat down. "Thank you for joining us Yachi," papa said. "No problem," she smiled and I swear I almost died. "Well eat up" dad announced.
The next day
Kuroo and Kenma were playing better then ever. Our new libero Riku (Tiki, fuck you autocorrect) was adjusting very well. "Okay everyone gather up!" Kuroo yelled. The team rushed to him. "We have a new player that some of you may know," he told us. "Shoyo!" Kenma asked/yelled. "Tanaka!" Yamamoto yelled. "Anyone but Oikawa (Mikasa, really autocorrect?) or Tsukishima," Yuki said. Kuroo moved to reveal a small figure walking into the gym. "Shoyo?!" Kenma hoped. "Who the fuck are you calling sHoYO" the small figure yelled. That was Yaku's voice. And then I realized it was Yaku. I started to walk out when Kai pulled me back. "Asshole stay here" he whispered to me. "Shit fine," We got back to practicing and Riku and Yaku took turns playing. He didn't even look at me, how dare he. When Kenma accidentally hit him in the face I was told to take him to the nurse. Wow, way to make things awkward. "Yaku," I said as I got him some ice. "What you fucking giant," he yelled as I sat down next to him. "Why did you leave?" I asked. He looked at me in sadness. "My mom made me" he whispered. I hugged him, he hugged back. Just like old times, only, no. It's different now, he has better grades and I have a girlfriend that I am obsessed with. "Lev, I really missed you hugging me" He said. Before I knew it he pulled me in and kissed me. I immediately got up and left the room. My parents were waiting outside. "Take me to Yachi's" I told them. Papa and dad hugged me. "If you're stressed the rink is always open for you" papa said. "I need to work something out with her," I told them. They nodded and started the long, silent car ride. "You wanted to talk to me," My gf asked. I sat down and hugged her. "My exe kissed me," I told her. She took a deep breath and looked in his eyes. "Did You kiss back?" She asked. I shook my head. Yachi kissed me and smiled. "I truly love you so much," she told me. "I couldn't agree more" "Спокойной ночи" I said. Translation: good night. We lay down and told funny stories until we fell asleep.
