It's 1 am and I'm still in the office, working
I packed up everything took my car keys and went to the parking
I reached my penthouse and a soft fragrance of rose hit me, we do not have any rose plantation in the whole penthouse but still there is some rose fragnance itself from the start
I entered my room and the flashback hits me
Flashback
"Mumma you are homeee" little Ashi said to her mother in excitement
They have a precious mother daughter bond and in any fight Ashi always takes her mother side leaving her father offended
"Beta I'm also home, merko toh bolo!" Her father said to her with a pout on his face
"Noooo" she said
This father daughter duo has a banter bitter type of bond which makes it even more special
"I love you mumma, you work soo much I want to be you when I grow up!" She said with stars in her eyes
"Acha? Then I will guide my daughter the best" her mother said excited
Flashback ends
"Where are you mumma? I'm all alone" she said to no one
Sat on the bed took her mother's photo in her hand and a lone tear left her eye
"I'm strong mumma, I'll be okay"
She hugged the pillow and cried half of the night.
Abhishek's pov:-
It's 11:59 I'm the night and I'm standing outside nishtha's bunglow as it's her birthday tomorrow with a cake and balloon's in my hand
I called her as it was just 1 minute left for her birthday
"Hello love?" I said
"Umm he- hello" I heard saying, she sounded tensed though
"Where are you? I'm outside your house!" I said to her
"WHAT? You are outside my house?" She asked shocked at first but trying to sound casual at the end
"Yes come in the balcony" I said to her
"Umm yea yeah" she said
I could listen things moving from the other side of the call but didn't say anything
We cut the cake and I fed her the first bite and wished her
"Happy birthday love"
"Thanks abhi"
"I love you"
"I love you more"

I went home sneakily and told arv to open the door for me
He opened the door, I thanked him and went inside my room
Did some of my work and slept.
Ashi's pov:-
It's nishtha's bday and I'm invited to a family party in which I have no interest in going so I told Avyash to keep my schedule busy for today and free for tomorrow cuz it's mumma's birthday tomorrow.
I have a routine each year on mumma's birthday i taker her favourite flower daizy to her and I always visit in night as she always told me how she loved gazing at stars
And because of her this has become my favourite thing to do too, gazing at stars.
