CHAPTER-15

MANIK P.O.V.

I took her to the washroom. I made her stand on the floor and then take her pantries off to her knees. I made sit on the pot.

"dadda..potty.."

"yes.. jaan.. you can potty.. daddy will clean you up."

she nodded.

"dadda..done.."

"sure?.."

she nodded.

"good girl." i said patting her head.

I cleaned her and made her wear her panties again. she hissed.

"what happened baby?"

"Dadda...boo..boo..dadda." she said, looking into my eyes, but i did not understand what it meant. I kissed her head.

we washed our hands. Then i washed her face and cleaned it with a soft towel.

We exited the washroom.

I put nandini on the bed and stood near only. i called cabir.

"I want you guys here in 10 minutes." i ordered and cut the call.

"I called your friends so that you can play with them." i said smiling towards nandini.

she smiled.

'Play? i called them so that they can help navya to inject you. i just can not see you hurt. nandini. i can not see you crying. i will stay here only.'

'KNOCK'

"It is ready. Come out."

"Yeah, in a minute," I said.

After 5 minutes i heard dhruv voice, So I opened the door.

"Dhruv." I called him.

" Take Nandini with you and help with her medication. I have some work." i said coldly.

dhruv looked confused but nodded. He went inside.

"Hey princess."

nandini smiled cutely.

"Come, let's go outside," he said.

nandini excitedly went into his arms. When they went outside, I locked the door.

DHRUV P.O.V.

I took nandini as commanded.

She was so excited thinking about the games we were going to play but her smile turned into a frown when she did not see Manik with us.

"da..dadda..?" she asked confusingly.

"he is a little busy, princess. Why do not you just play with us till he finishes his work?" i said.

"play...dadda...see...play...only.." i did not understand and look towards navya because she is expert in taking care of childern.

"she wants to play in front of her daddy only." navya said preparing some injections.

"ohhhhhh.."

"dhruv bring her here and lay her down." navy said to me.

Now i understood why manik was busy. He could not stand his baby in tears.

"cabir, you too stand their only, if she moves, so, just hold her legs." she said again.

"baby, do you want a chocolate?" she said to nandini.

nandini refused.

"dadda....!" nandini said sobbing.

"Daddy will come if Nandini obeys us, right cabir?"

"yes, he will."

"n....nnoooo....dadda.......dadda........dadda..."nandini started crying loudly. Her muscles were tense. Navya could not inject her like that, so i decided to get manik. He does not have any other choice now.

"My princess wants her daddy, so she will get her daddy. Relax baby." i said and knocked the door.

"Manik, come out dude. Can't you hear your baby is crying for you."

"I know you are not busy. Dude, she needs you. Come out."

He did not come out, but within a few minutes nandini's cry increased. I heard some voices from inside, and he opened the door within a second. His eyes were red. He rushed towards nandini and took her in his arms. Nandini hugged him and was making some noises as if complaining about him about leaving her alone.

"da........daa .....daa...da..."

"yes yes baby daddy is here. Daddy is not going to leave you alone. Dadda's promise." manik said.

From the time Nandini came into his life, we got to see this new manik who is caring, sweet and soft.

Nandini is like an angel. We are afraid that some day this demon will hurt this angel, but somewhere we are trusting Manik's love.

Manik was making her calm by roaming here and there while rubbing her back. It took nearly 30 minutes for nandini to calm down, but then she said something so slowly that only Manik could hear.

"Navya, what is boo boo??" Manik asked.

"It depends on the child, as they make their own words as per their understanding. So boo boo could be for milk or it could be for pain." explained navya.

"where baby ?" Manik asked nandini.

MANIK P.O.V.

I locked myself in the room but i just could not stop myself after hearing her cries. Somewhere it was giving me a peace as there is someone now who wants my presence near them but it was hurting me. Nandini was becoming my weakness in a day. My eyes were full of tears but i did not permit them to flow down. I am a mafia, i can not be this weak.

dhruv knocked on the door and asked me to come outside, but i tried my best to become a cold hearted person that i am, but when Nandini's cries increased i just could not hold myself thinking about how fragile she is. She could get a fever by crying too much too.

My heart broke into a million pieces after seeing the sight of my poor baby. She was crying so hard when i reached near her, she just jumped on me and hugged me like her life depended on it. She made some noise which no one could understand, but it looked as if she was complaining to me to leave her alone. I took her in my arms and started roaming here and there to calm her down. It took me 30 minutes to calm her down. Then, after a few minutes,

"dadda...boo..boo."

"yes baby.."

"Navya, what is boo boo??" I asked Navya.

"It depends on the child, as they make their own words as per their understanding. So boo boo could be for milk or it could be for pain." explained navya.

I looked down at my baby and asked.

"where baby?"

She just keep looking at me, i understood she is no help. I have to find myself.
