☆ 'Strawberries with Chocolate' ☆

Third person's pov:-
"Have these donuts." Aera uttered before handing him the packets of donuts which she had received a while ago from Jake. "Please." she continued knowing he would reject her offer.
Surprisingly, he took the packet without protesting and instead whispered,"Thank you."
"No worries, enjoy your free food." Aera joked and laughed at her own,but stopped immediately when she didn't receive any reactions from him.
"Anyways, thank you for accompaying me. Wanna come inside?" Aera retorted being embarassed once they were infront of her home.
"No, thank you."
"Alright then, see you tomorrow." She told him and waited for him to say something.As expceted, he nodded amd started to go. "Take care and bye!" she exclaimed once she saw him leaving without a bye.
He didn't turn his back and continued to walk his way back home. a slight smile was seen adoring on his face - unknowningly.

The Park boy was seen to be lying on his bed, staring at the white ceiling, conveying his deep emotions to it. If only he didn't came back home today, his day would have been better - after a long time. Unfortunately, he was cursed as soon as he was home. Instead of being pampered for being the only child, being questioned about how is he, how did he had spent his day - all he got was swearings from his so called 'Father' while his mother did nothing and stood by his father.
He couldn't do anything rather than standing straight with his head bow down. He felt stupid, stupid for being a mute infront of his father, he keeps on failing whenever he wants to speak. Sunghoon has numerous things to say to his father, he wants his parents to know how pathetic he feels, why did they abandoned him? What was his fault?All he wants is just some answers to his unasked questions but only if his parents give a damn about him or his life - His life has been filled with dullness.A depressed and an awful life he has - he thinks.
"I'm exhausted -. " he whispered before dosing off and digging his emotions somewhere where no one else can have a look .

"Hey?" Aera shouted once she has spotted the older boy sitting under the Mango tree, reading a book. He looked at her direction and saw her coming towards him with something in her hands. He looked to his right, right after she took a seat beside him. He was surprised seeing her here, looking for him. 'What is she doing here?' - his inner thoughts spoke up.
They were in the garden attached with their school. It was recess period and the area was mostly empty, seeking them an opportunity to have a calm and peaceful environment.
"Ohh?" Sunghoon uttered when a cute little minion shaped box was shoved infront of his face. "Take this minion please." Aera spoke after seeing him being startled. "I made pancakes and brought strawberries with chocolate." she continued, her voice lace with excitement and handed him the minion shaped box she had brought for him.
"No, it's fine you can have it." Sunghoon declined and went back to reading. Aera looked at him forming a pout. "Ohh common Sunghoon, just take this I brought one for me as well." She stated after handing him the box and took out her own hello kitty shaped box. "See? Cute isn't it?" She asked once she showed her own shaped box. "Thanks." he stated.
"Let's eat these together?" she uttered more like asked him. What if he is uncomfortable to eat with her. Her thoughts came to an end when simply gave her a nod while keeping his book aside which he was reading a while ago. She smiled looking at him. How beautiful he looked sitting under the tree. "Beautiful." she whispered.
"How's the pancakes?" Aera inquired after seeing him having a bite of it. She was nervous would be an underestimate. It would be embarassing if it turn out to be disgusting. "Its good, really good." He answered adoring the childish box placed infront of him and continued to eat. The kim girl felt relieved and glad at the same time. Surely her pancakes were the best.
"You know, strawberries with chocolate are my favourite." she uttered randomly, earning the attention of the boy beside her. "Mine too, I like them." he replied while taking a glance at her. She didn't expect him to reply to her,but he did. Surprisingly, she felt cool beside him. For her, this is the longest conversation they had. Otherwise, he would just nod his head or reply with some short words. But today, he was being free.
"Wow - that's cool!"
"So, when should we meet again for the project?" Aera asked while munching her pancakes. "This friday?" Sunghoon claimed after a moment of silence.
"Alright, friday it is then."
After a while,they were sitting - Sunghoon reading the previous book amd Aera was adoring him secretly.
"Thank you for having a meal with me." Aera thanked Sunghoon once they had finished eating. "Thank you for the pancakes and strawberries with chocolate as well." he returned her thank you. "No worries."
"Don't you ever smile?"
"Huh?"
"Nevermind."
