Death's Stain is inspired by multiple anime's, notably Jujutsu Kaisen, mostly the close ranged fighting choreography, also Tokyo Ghoul due to the dark atmosphere and Bleach due to the character designs. Also, despite never reading much into Kagurabachi, but I liked the main character, Chihiro Rokuhira, and the way he wielded the blade. That would be incorporated, which is the reason for Seiji's razor-sharp blade. Attack on Titan would also be another inspiration, I want foreshadowing, emotional bonds, and etc. into my story just like the AoT anime and manga has. Also the omni-directional mobility gear is an inspiration for his grappling hook and the way he moves with his blade. Batman can be one too due to all his gadgets, and I like gadgets.
