Chp 2: Talk about 'sugarcoat'

Arriving at Heizou's so called 'home', Scaramouche wont lie when he says he didn't expect such a big and open space from someone who looks like they ate pizza bites all through out their collage days. The second Scaramouche saw his home, he swear's he had a familiar feeling just by looking at the house.. it was like any other house in inazuma, aside from it having two floors it was practically the same. So why did it feel so familiar?

Walking inside, he kept getting a strong deja vu feeling. He snapped out of it when he heard Heizou start to talk to him. "Hey, what do you think of the living space? Comfy right?" Scaramouche just nods at his question, while it was messy and sloppy here and there, he sure preferred that over the small room he stayed in back when he was a 'patient'. He'd choose Heizou's room over that any day, in a heart beat. "It's honestly messy as fuck, but hey at most it does look rather enjoyable." He looks at Heizou, he doesn't seem too offended heck, he's smiling and lets out a chuckle "I'll take that as a compliment and a suggestion" He smiles and seems overall joyful.

Scaramouche starts to think about what he just said, how could someone be so joyful about something that just basically insults their behavior? He doesn't question it any longer and just agrees "You're welcome" Scaramouche didn't hide his sarcasm at all when saying that, and he didn't want to try hiding it either. He needed to break this man, he needed to figure out every little thing about him. Something about him felt far too familiar, too familiar.. he needs him to break and spit out everything he's hiding.

"I know you're just playing around with me, so don't even worry about thinking if I know or not" He smiles and stares at Scaramouche with a fruity grin. Scaramouche stares black with a clearly confused and awkward facial expression. Heizou shuts and the door and leads him to his living room "Well, what do you like to do in your free time?" He smiles but Scaramouche looks overall confused.

What did this man mean by free time? "Free time?" Scaramouche asked, Heizou laughed and put a hand on his hip "You know, like stuff you do whenever you have no work to do. You do have free time on your hands.. right?" He chuckles awkwardly. Scaramouche shakes his head and stares at heizou "By the looks of you, I'm sure you know tons about that" He chuckles, and Heizou stares at him before smiling.

"Maybe I do get a little too much free time, that's for sure" He stares at Scaramouche for a while before finally asking him "Well, since we have nothing better to do. How about we head to this cafe down the street? It's run by a good friend of mine, you'll meet him when we get there." Heizou smiles and takes Scara by the hand.. Scara swears he felt his cheeks turn hot. Thankfully, Heizou was too busy walking to notice.

When they arrive, he finds a man with an apron and blond hair. He seems to be in a hurry until a guy with blue hair and a white and blue color palette comes out. "You must be Wanderer!" The man with blonde hair said. "I'm Thoma, I'm not sure if Heizou has even told you about me and my lord yet, but the man with blue hair over there is Lord Ayato! The girl with him is his sister Ayaka, I hope it's not rude but I gotta excuse myself!" He runs back and forth in such a hurry.

Heizou watches as Thoma cooks for the customers. Scara doesn't see the hype over the food, sure he can taste it but.. actually need to eat? He's a puppet not a functioning human. "Hey Scara, what do you like to eat? The food is  on me!" He smiles and waits for Scara to respond to his question, "Well I've never been to a place such as this.. just get me anything, surprise me." He looks at Heizou, and Heizou looks at him. He nods with a smile and orders their specialty. When they get seated, Heizou attempts to start small talk. But before he even gets a word out, Scara stops him

"Don't even try it, the room may be quiet but that doesn't mean I'm in any mood to start small talk." Scara puts a leg on top of his knee. Heizou stares at him and doesn't try to go against what he had just been told. When their food arrives, Heizou takes it off the tray and gives Scara his food and then takes his own on his side of the table. As they're both eating, Heizou smiles at Scara and starts to ask some questions "Soooo, Wanderer.. Where are you from?" Scara quickly swallows his food and stares at Heizou with his cold indigo eyes, "I'm from inazuma" He looks down at his food and starts to eat again. "Have you ever had a job?"  He asks, but Scaramouche shakes his head 'no'.
