Hawks soared through the night sky, his sharp eyes scanning the city below for any signs of trouble. As a top hero, it was his duty to keep the citizens of the city safe from harm. But despite his focus on the task at hand, his thoughts kept drifting back to Dabi. It had been a week since they had talked, and Hawks couldn't shake the feeling that something was wrong. The fire starter had always been a bit of a loner; even in the league, he seemed to keep to himself. Even though the red-winged hero was still working for the commissioner, he couldn't help but feel drawn to the villain. But now, with Dabi seemingly MIA, Hawks couldn't help but worry. Had something happened to him? Had he been hurt on a mission? Or, worse, had he been captured? The male shook the thought out of his head: if Dabi was captured or killed by a hero, then it would be all over the news. The number two most wanted villain in Japan killed was probably the biggest story any news station could get a hold of.

Finally, after what felt like an eternity of searching, Hawks spotted a figure in the distance. The figure was hunched, his head resting on his knees. Hawks swooped down to the ground, and as he drew closer, the bird hero noticed that it was Dabi slumped against the wall, surrounded by brown bottles. The smell of piss and alcohol engulfed the male's nose, almost causing him to gag, bringing a hand over his nose. Hawks inched closer. "Dabi, what's going on? Why haven't you been answering my calls?" He asked. When the villain didn't respond, Hawks gently set a hand on the other male's shoulder and froze. Dabi was cold to the touch. Which was concerning in itself; the villain always ran a little hotter than normal because of his quirk. "Dabs, come on. Wake up, this isn't funny." Hawks demanded, shaking the male harder.

Hawks chewed the inside of his cheek; his yellow eyes shot down to the bottles, cursing under his breath. He knew Dabi tended to self-destruct; he never knew the whole story, but he knew that the fire starter lived on hate for his dad. The bird hero knelt, scooping the frozen Villain in his arms before pushing himself off the ground, fighting the urge to speed back to his apartment. He knew Dabi got motion sick, and he'd hate to make the other male even sicker, but with how frozen the Villain was, he had to move quickly. Once inside, he quickly laid Dabi on the couch and started to remove his wet clothes. The male stared at the patchy skin for a moment; he had to be careful how he warmed Dabi up. If he did it too fast, then it would send the fire starter into shock, but if he didn't, then the villain was probably going to get worse. Shaking the thoughts to the back of his head, he quickly fetched a pile of blankets and draped them over Dabi's shivering form.

He watched Dabi for a moment, too scared to move as if the other male would disappear if he blinked. Kneeling Hawks set a hand on the other male's forehead, wincing slightly. Still too cold for comfort, he should call an ambulance. He should call Recovery Girl, but at this moment Hawks couldn't move. The bird hero found his hand moving toward Dabi's cheek, gently patting it a few times. "Dabs, come on. You need to wake up; I don't know how to warm you up properly. I need you to tell me what to do." He begged in a low tone.

The villain made a small, painful noise, his eyes slowly opening. The winged hero had to stop himself from flinching. Dabi's eyes were glazed with pain and nonrecognition as he slowly glanced around. "H-H-Hawks..." Dabi responded with a labored breath.

"Yeah, I'm here. Dabs, you need to tell me what to do." The male repeated. The black-haired male opened his mouth, but only air came out. The fire starter winced in pain as his head lolled to the side once more. "No, no, no, no, Dabs!" Hawks shouted. Cursing under his breath, the male looped his arms under Dabi's shoulders, dragging the Villain toward the bathroom. Flicking the lights on quickly, he gently set him against the wall. Starting the bath off cold, he let the water run for a few minutes before adding lukewarm water to the bath before gently setting Dabi inside. Hawks waited for the water to fill Villain's chest before turning it off and grabbing a few washcloths. Setting one around Dabi's neck, while the other one was set on his forehead. The red-winged hero lost track of how long he sat on the floor, using his hand as a small cup and gently letting the water drip against Dabi's cold skin. Dabi made another small noise, snapping Hawks from his train of thought. "Hey, are you with me now?" He questioned me nervously.
