The day I fell in love with you,
Yeah...
I still remember,
We was in 7th grade and the month was November,
Both of us with our class in the gym for picture day.
As I stood in line waiting,
My eyes started to wander out of boredom and impatience,
When suddenly,
my attention was turned towards the most beautiful, bright light I had ever seen.
As I starred at this mesmorizing light,
That was beaming with beauty from across the way.
I began to feel peace, and calmness takeover my mind and body.
And my heart,
It started to sway.
Truth is,
I loved you since that day,
And that's why everyday after school I ran home ,
Locked my room door and dropped to my knees and would pray,
Saying; "God. If you make her mine, I promise to pray everyday."
Days went by ,
We went from strangers to
best friends to, best-friends in love who ,
promised to keep it real and true.
And just like that,
There I was inlove in middle school,
Heart on my sleeve about trying to show you that my love for you wasn't miniscule.
Then I blinked,
And ,
Next thing I knew ,
The race was over,
and my heart was off to the side ,
crying about the loss,
While I,
was trying to calculate how how much the damage would cost,
But looking back on our beginning part,
I've realized,
That once upon a time,
I was yours,
And you was mine,
And knowing that,
And having those memories,
Will forever be a win in my heart....
