"Y/n, can you help me with this problem?"

You glance at the question Oliver is pointing at, and sweatdrop.

"You're doing this on purpose aren't you..."

"What? Of course not! You're just so smart that I don't even feel confident in my answers anymore." Oliver grinned innocently, while you felt guilty. 'It's only because I've learned everything being taught in this class already...', you think.

You've only recently realized that you didn't need to study or pay attention in class to get good grades or to do your homework. That is because you know everything the teacher is teaching, having passed 7th Grade before.

"Ollie." you sigh, uttering the nickname you decided to call him by a few days ago. "I know you're fully capable of doing it on your own, so-"

"Pleaseee?" Oliver looks at you pleading, as if this really mattered to him right now, so you had no choice but to accept.

"Alright" you say as he grins wide, and take a look at the solution he has done. "You did it correctly. No mistake." you say after analyzing.

"Phew. Thanks!" he says and you nod. 'He honestly doesn't need my help... Dunno why he keeps insisting he does.'

Ollie was the type of person to goof off at school, but actually secretly study at home. He also pretends to be dumb and uneducated when in reality he is one of the smartest students in class and memorizes almost everything he learns.

You don't understand why he would pretend to be someone he's not, but you guess it has something to do with his popularity. Maybe acting like he does is what got everyone to know about him. Or maybe he does it just for his own entertainment.

Whichever it is, you have decided to not question him about it because he seems to be enjoying what he does.

And then your thoughts trail back to your uncle. It's been a while (only a few days in reality) since you've seen your uncle, Yuri. You wonder how he's doing, remembering his promise to come visit when he isn't as busy anymore.

Has he finished all his work? Does he miss Yor? Is he curious about how you're doing?

You twist a pencil in one hand, your cheek resting on the other hands' palm. Previously, you never would have imagined you would ever think about your Uncle besides when he visits (because something strange always happens when he does). But right now, he's the only person besides you who knows about the future, so you believed you two must always work together if you want to avoid it.

'Uncle, you better get done with work quick and drag your ass here or I'm personally coming to meet you..'

There is much to talk about with him, such as your training to get stronger, learning how to fight, plotting to get rid of enemies, and all that fun jazz. Because you didn't want to be weak any longer. It will only hold you back from the things you needed to achieve.

You wanted to kill and not feel a thing. You wanted to wipe the greedy smirks off the faces of those stupid diplomatic and political people and laugh as they scream. You wanted to be strong enough to smash trees with your bare hands like Yor does, and not have injuries when you do. You wanted to make your heart so cold that nothing anyone says/does will ever hurt you again. But most of all...

You wanted power.

Raw, unyielding power.

Power to control. Dominate. Command. Force.

So that you may never lose your family ever again.

At this thought, your eyes darken for a moment. 'I'll do whatever it takes to achieve that true power.'
