Chapter 4

Cameron, (being the sneak he is) snaked is arm around my waist and slowly walked towards our parents.

Cameron's POV
I slid my hand around Sam's waist and started to walk towards our parents. I wanted to ask her out in front of them. I've been thinking and hopefully it'll change their minds about her moving I wish they let her stay with us, I thought.

Once we walked up to our parents, I saw my mom smirk at me and she flicked her eyes from my face to the arm that's around Sam's waist. "Umm, Cam what's that about?" My mom asked, pointing at us while smirking.
I sighed at her and said, " Okay, I wanted everyone to be here for when I say this and since you're all here I guess I should start. I've been liking Sam for the longest time and I think she's an amazing, wonderful and beautiful girl. She knows how to make me happy when I'm sad and I'm glad that I have her in my life. I want to make a bigger step in life and ask her this very important question."
I look over to Sammy's dad and I see him smiling and nodding as if he's approving my question. I smile back at him and I walk over to Sam.

"Samantha Alison Wolf, I've fallen deeply in love with you and I want this friendship to become something more. I want to spend the rest of my life with you, and no this is not a proposal." I laugh. "But.. Will you do me the honor and be my girlfriend?"

Sam looked at me in shock and I saw tears form in her eyes. I looked at her lips and I saw a smile starting to form, man I love this girl so damn much. "I- I have no words. That was the sweetest thing I have ever heard! Of course I'd be your girlfriend." She said as she wrapped her arms around my neck.
All of a sudden, we heard "aww" and we looked at our parents. Sammy started blushing and she hid her face into my chest and I smiled down at her and put my grip around her tighter than it already was.

I look to my parents, signaling them to give us some alone time and they do as I silently ask. Samantha's parents catch on and they all head down to the porch outside to "talk". I look down at Sam, who is still attached to me. I rest the bottom of my head on the top of hers as I began talking quietly to her. "Sam, I have felt this way about you since we first met. You give me a reason to live each day to the best of my ability and you bring happiness into my life. Without you, I would not be complete. Just thinking about the fact that you will be moving thousands of miles away from where you belong, here with me, frightens me. I don't know what will happen after but all I do know is that for now, I will stay here, with you in my arms, as I ponder a way to convince your parents to let you stay here with me. Love is a strong feeling, a feeling between two people that can destroy anything thrown their way. I know that we will last a very long time, hopefully until the end, but for now, I gotta make sure I don't lose you Sammy. I love you and I would do any and everything to protect you and to keep you happy." I finish as I look into her teary eyes and lean down to kiss her lips. She leans in slowly as do I and our lips lock together. I've been waiting for this moment for a very long time and here it has come. We soon detach our lips from each other and Sam looks up at me and smiles. Her blue eyes glow as she stares into my dark brown ones. I stand here, with the most beautiful girl in the world, in my arms, making me the happiest guy alive. How lucky am I?
