Seoul, South Korea
7:34 amThe beautiful city of Seoul was basking in the golden rays of the sun. The sky was blue with some clouds scattered here and there. The green leaves of the trees were moving continuously due to the gentle and calming breeze brushing against them. The chirping of the birds was like cherry on top. A faint smell of flowers and wet grass completed the pleasant atmosphere.
All these things indicated one thing.
Spring.
Spring was here already.
But was it?
The house looked small, but cozy. It was a two storeyed house made up of shiny, polished wood. The top of the house was coloured pink and was sloppy. Floor to ceiling glass windows gave it a modern vibe. A small garden outside the house added to it's beauty.
The inside of the house was even more beautiful. It was brown and white themed. It was a small living room with a sofa set in the middle, an LED television infront of the sofa set, and a coffee table with two chairs near the glass window. An attached kitchen with a small dining table with six chairs, a white marble counter and a white marble slab was also present. A small staircase infront of the kitchen led to the upper floor.
A handsome and beautiful man was working in the kitchen. His chocolate brown mop of hair was a mess and he looked like he had just woken up. He had his headphones on and was humming along with the song playing on it while flicking the pancakes on the pan. He had a small smile dancing on his lips as he lightly swayed along with the song. He was wearing a baggy white t-shirt paired with black shorts.
His clothes looked all crumbled up and he was bare feet, the cold marble touching the skin of his bare sole.
"Kiara!" Voice as deep as ocean and as sweet as honey, he shouted in between his low hums of the song, "Get down or you're gonna get late again!"
"Coming!" A female voice replied from upstairs, but it went unheard by the male who had started singing and humming again.
Hurried sound of footsteps engulfed the environment as a girl climbed down the staircase. Reaching the kitchen and finally settling down on one of the dining chairs, she voice out a, "Good morning, Taehyung oppa."
She was dressed in a school uniform and had kept her school bag on the chair beside her's. She looked young, and beautiful, resembling the handsome male's face a lot. Her brown hair was tied into a neat ponytail and she was looking at her brother curiously who was back facing her.
Hearing her sudden greeting, the man, Taehyung, turned around to face her while still flipping the pancakes. "Morning," he greeted back.
Finally taking out two plates, settling the pancakes on them and pouring honey over them, he walked towards the dining table and kept the plates on it. He took off his headphones and kept them on the table, before looking at the girl with a raised eyebrow, "Took you long enough."
The girl smiled sheepishly. "Well," She looked down at her plate and took a bite of her pancake. With a mouth full of the the delicacy, she spoke, "Sorry."
Taehyung rolled his eyes and let out a sigh. He took a chair out for himself and settled down on it. "Kiara," The girl looked at him, "You need to be serious now. You're growing up. You're fifteen already and still causing me so much trouble. Everytime I meet your teachers, they are always complaining about how you're always late. You are big enough to understand what's right and what's wrong and you certainly don't need my guidance at every step anymore."
The girl gulped her food down and let out a chuckle. "Stop nagging like a mom, oppa." She pointed towards his food with her eyes, "Eat."
Taehyung sighed once again. "Kiara, I'm serious."
