The house was silent. All that could be heard were the sounds of Regina's fingers typing on her computer, and her pen touching the paperwork in front of her. Regina had been working in her office, while Zelena was listening to music and reading in her room, Merida, her rambunctious 3-year-old daughter, sleeping by her side. Robin had been out with Henry and Roland on a Father&Sons bonding night. They hadn't been back yet even though it was 10:45 p.m. Everything had been calm.

Regina had heard the door open. She looked up quickly, but then ignored it, thinking it was just Robin and the boys. She then looked up again when the door closed, not hearing the usual "We're home!" from Robin. Concluding that Roland was probably asleep and Robin didn't want to wake him, she once again returned to her work.

Then there was the sound of metal crashing against more metal. Robin and Henry were not very clumsy and Roland was probably asleep. Plus it didn't even sound like something had actually hit the floor. Now, Regina was suspicious.

Slowly, Regina took her glasses off and set them down, standing up in the process. She made her way to the entrance hall slowly, wondering what was going on.

She looked back at the kitchen she had just exited, when she felt something on her back. She instantly knew what it was, a gun.

Regina held her breath, letting it out slowly and cautiously. "Turn around" said the deep voice, obviously coming from a man. Regina turned around slowly, putting her hand behind her back carefully, so he wouldn't notice. "You stay there and don't tell anybody about this and I won't shoot." She then saw the bag hung over his shoulder, realizing that he was robbing them. She couldn't say anything, so she just nodded.

Behind Regina's back though, a fireball was building up. He was backing away slowly, but prepared to shoot just incase she moved. She could feel the heat of the fire over her hand, and she knew, she had to throw it.

As fast as she could, she started to throw the fire, but wasn't fast enough. He saw her movement and immediately shot her, the bullet hitting her in the stomach.

Right when the bullet hit Regina, she fell hard on the ground. She tried to get up, to stop him, but her strength was fading, leaving her alone to die on the cold, hard ground.
