Chapter Sixty-Six

LUNA

Luna gets her attention by doing a dance, as she sees Isla's psychic self-appearing in her space, and she ignores her. Sensing she has posted on social media, Ivory walks to her living room window and watches Luna for a few seconds. As she opens the door, she says, "Why are you up early? What are you doing out there?"

"I couldn't sleep! I noticed your light was on," Luna says as she walks to the front door. She then walks into the house, stands in the living room, and asks, "Why are you moving your furniture around?"

"I couldn't sleep either! You want to help me move this couch?" Ivory asks as she takes a sip of her energy drink. Setting it on the floor by the door, she says, "I wanted to give the living room a new look."

"Sure! Why not," she says, as they walk to the couch. They pick it up, move it to another wall, and Luna says, "I'm not sure if Amelia has told you. But someone sent a box of antique doll heads to our work that resembles everyone that we knew in a cardboard box. They put a lot of effort into making them look like everyone that I know. There was even one that looked like you."

"Yeah! She mentioned it. Who would do that?"

"I'm not sure. We did end up putting them on the back counter with the rest of the gothic items," Luna says, as they stand in front of the couch and push it with their legs to the wall.

"Oh yeah!" Ivory says, looking at Luna, while putting her hands on her hips.

As she stands there, she watches Isla light up in her space again. She then walks into the kitchen, opens the fridge, and says, "I'm thirsty! I'm grabbing something to drink."

"Go ahead! Help yourself."

Luna opens the fridge, grabs a drink, and hears multiple dings in her space. She looks around to see where it's coming from, and with nothing out of the ordinary, she blows it off and closes the fridge. As she takes a drink, she says, "Hey! Have you seen any balls of white light flying around lately?"

"What? What are you talking about?" Ivory yells, as she takes another sip of her energy drink.

"Never mind!" she says, standing in the kitchen, looking out the window, and watches Kyle watching television in the living room.

Within moments, she senses Geo's energy, and she takes her cell phone out of her back pocket and opens social media. She goes to his page, sees two new pictures, and her body morphs into him. Sensing that he's reading Isla, her cheekbones rise. She then hears Kyle knocking at the front door, and she closes the social media, puts her cell phone in her back pocket and walks to the living room.
