LaMonts

She pulls into work, gets out, and walks into work. Seeing Amelia at the counter taking an order, she smiles and walks behind the counter. Grabbing an apron and wrapping it around her waist, she sees Amelia's doll head gone, and she says, "What the hell! Where's your doll head?"

"What? It felt like it was staring at me. I put it underneath the counter," Amelia says as she hands a plate of food to the customer sitting at the counter.

Luna chuckles under her breath, looks underneath the counter, and sees the doll's head. She picks it up by the hair, sets it next to the other doll heads, and looks at the heads. As she looks at Amelia, she says, "There! That's better! It doesn't feel right without your head being there."

"That's nice!" Amelia says, walking from behind the counter and to a table.

As Luna talks to a customer at the counter, she morphs in and out of Geo. Sensing that he's coming to visit her, she looks out the main window and watches him pull into the parking lot, get out of the vehicle, and walk into the tavern to the counter.

"Those are new!" he says, as he sits down, grabs a menu, and looks at the doll heads.

"Yep! They showed up at my work the other day. I'm not sure who sent them."

"Well! They're interesting!" he says, as he puts the menu on the counter, and stares at the doll heads. As he puts the menu on the counter, he says, "I'm going to take my food to go. I'll have todays special."

As she takes his order, she puts the ticket on the galley and walks to the doll heads. Picking his head up by the hair, she spins it in the air, set it in front of him, and says, "These heads were sitting at our back door. What do you think? Whoever did this, did a good job!"

"Is this one supposed to be me?" he asks, picking up the head and inspecting it.

"Yes, it's you!" Luna says as she leans on the counter with her elbows.

"I'm not sure what to think? Who would do that and why?" he asks, as he sets it on the counter and twangs it with his middle finger.

As she picks it up by the hair, she walks to the back counter and places it with the other doll heads. She then walks to him, leans on the counter, and says, "I thought maybe you would know!"

"No! I wouldn't know who would do that?" he says as he watches the cook put his food on the galley. Walking to the galley, she grabs his food and sets it in front of him, and he asks, "Do you have an idea who would do that?"

"At first, I thought it might have been Kyle," she says as he pulls out his wallet and gives her the money. As she takes the money, she walks to the register, rings up the food, and walks back to him. Handing him the receipt, she says, "Why would he do that?"

"I'm not sure why! You guys are a couple!" he says, as he stands up and puts his wallet inside his jacket pocket. Putting his food underneath his arm, he says, "I'm sure it wasn't him!"

"Yeah! Maybe you're right! If you suspect someone sending us those heads, you will tell us, right?" she asks as she picks up a wet rag and wipes the counter down.

"Of course, I'd tell you."

Putting the dirty rag in the bucket, she grabs an empty glass, makes a drink for a customer, and whispers, "Hey! What was that a little while ago? I saw you in my psychic space! Were you doing dark magic?"

"Why? I had things going on. It was just Isla and me," he says as he watches her reaction.

"Okay! Well, if you must know, she posted a picture of her matching me earlier. She's also always making her social media private and then making it public."

"Of course she is!" he says with a smile as he looks around the tavern. He then leans on the tavern chair and whispers, "Before I forget! How are those visions and dreams?"

"My dreams and visions are fine! Why do you ask?" she says as she picks up a glass, wipes it down, and puts it on the back counter.

"No reason!" he says, pulling his keys out of his pocket.

"Okay! I'll see you later. Be good!" she says as she walks to a customer and takes an order.

"You too. I'll see you later," he says as he walks out of the tavern.

As she watches him through the main window get into his vehicle, and pull out of the parking lot, Amelia walks to her. Seeing Luna staring into space, she snaps her fingers in front of her face to grab her attention, and Luna says, "What? I was thinking!"

"What did Geo have to say? Did you ask him about the doll heads?" Amelia asks, as she looks at Luna and the doll's heads.

"I did. He said he didn't know who sent them!"

"Okay! We need to figure out who sent those!" Amelia says, putting her hands on her hip.

"No sh@t! I'll find out!" Luna says, as she walks away from the counter and to a table. As she takes an order from a customer, she sees Isla appearing in her psychic space. Sensing she posted something on social media, she walks to the counter and places the ticket on the galley. Within moments, she watches Geo's psychic self light up in her space, and Luna says, "I'm pretty sure that it's either Kyle or Isla who sent the doll heads?"
