Felix sighed, when his father parked the car. He didn't want to get out of the car and he wished his father would just drive back to their house, but his silent pleas weren't heard.

"Come on." His father said, opening the door to climb out of the car.

"I know you don't want to be here, but please be nice." His father said, putting a hand on Felix's shoulder. "I really love her and I want you to get along with her and her son."

Felix nodded, looking down. "It's okay, dad. I do like them, I just wanted to be with my friends."

Last week, Felix's father had told him that he wanted to spend some time with his girlfriend and that he had booked a vacation for them. Felix didn't mind that at all, but then his father had said, that Felix would spend the weekend with his girlfriend's son. They wanted them to get to know each other better.

Felix had tried to convince his father that they did get along, because he didn't want to be here for the weekend. Not because he didn't like the son of his father's girlfriend, but because his friends had organized a party and he really wanted to be there. Now he was stuck here for the weekend.

"I understand that, but you can still go to the next parties. It's just important for us that you and Chan become friends now. Our relationship is getting very serious and I don't want you two to be strangers."

Pressing his lips together, Felix nodded again. He could see the sparkle in his father's eyes, that he hadn't seen in a long time. Ever since his parent's divorce, his father had been sad. But now he seemed so different, so in love.

"Okay." He smiled at his father. "I'm glad to see you this happy."

That made his father smile widely as well. "Thank you." He pulled Felix into a short hug, before opening the door, since he had the keys.

The first thing Felix saw, when he walked through the door, was the living room and stairs leading to the upper part of the house. Then he noticed two people walking down the stairs.

Chan was carrying his mother's suitcase down and since he was wearing a white tanktop, Felix could stare at his arms freely. Biting his lip, Felix's eyes trailed over Chan's flexing muscles, it almost felt as if Chan knew he was watching him.

His attention was ripped away from Chan's body, when he suddenly felt arms wrap around himself. "Felix, sweetie. I'm so happy to see you, it's been a while." Chan's mother smiled widely.

She was a lovely woman, with a genuine smile and warm hugs. Felix returned the hug, practically feeling that she was excited to see him. "Nice to see you too." He answered, trying to seem as excited as she was, when she pulled away and ran a hand through his longer black hair.
