It had been 5 weeks since Tamara had returned Tim's radio, and 5 weeks 3 days since the missile warning. The date was now the 25th of February 2018. It was 8am and the rookies were off at the weekend so Lucy was still peacefully sleeping. That was until she abruptly woke up, she stomach feeling awful. Jackson was a morning person, he had been awake since 6am and was now currently making breakfast in the kitchen, which was just outside Lucy's bedroom. The smell of freshly cooked pancakes drifted in through under the door and as it hit her she instantly felt sick.
She ran out of her room, and across the apartment to the bathroom. The rookies were all out drinking last night so Jackson thought she was just hungover, but Lucy knew that wasn't why. She felt unwell last night so she didn't drink. She pulled up the calendar app on her phone. She was always irregular through because shes suffered a large amount of traumas its effected her so at the moment she just thought she had a stomach bug. That was until her phone buzzed. It was Sargent Grey.
She read the message,
Officer Chen. My office, immediately.
Shit.
She scurried up and got dressed and left without saying a word to Jackson. At this point, he started getting concerned.
20 minutes later.
WG- Is this what you call immediately officer Chen?
Bradford was already in there. Lucy looked over at him but he just shrugged his shoulders. He was also unaware why they were there.
T- Sir, you called us in on a weekend, this must be important?
WG- After I show you this I need you to decide what you think your punishment should be.
Lucy started to gain a cold sweat.
WG- Please explain to me officer Bradford, when I was reviewing the footage from the missile warning on your bodycams. Was officer Chens off?
Greys face flooded with a red rage.
WG-I found this suspicious so I checked yours. And I did definitely NOT expect, to see you fucking your boot!!!
It all made sense in Lucy's head now. She most definitely did not have a stomach bug. Her vision started to blur as she felt all her blood rushing to her head.
WG- Officer Chen. What do you have to say about this?
He couldn't even stand to look at Tim.
L- I.. I'm sorry.. Sir.
Before she could say anymore she fell to the floor. Out cold.
