Chapter 1 : Wedding Announcement

(The day after Ichiro's Birthday...)

Samatoki wakes up to a call, it was by Nemu. "Hey, good morning Samatoki! I've got some great news!!" Nemu says, as she squeals with excitement. Samatoki replies, "Hngg? What is it, Nemu...? Its pretty early in the morning, whatt'ya so excited about?" Samatoki says, in a grubby voice. (is it called that? I forgot, feel free to correct if im wrong!!) "Weellllll, He proposed!!!!" She says excitedly to Samatoki. "WHAT?!" Samatoki screams into the mic...

"Hm...?" Ichiro wakes up, laying next to Samatoki. "Why are you so loud... Samatoki...?" Ichiro says, in a very tired voice since yesterday was his birthday.

Samatoki continues to talk to Nemu, Nemu says "Well, yeah! Are you mad?? Are you happy for me??" Samatoki sighs, "Really? Are you sure about this? You two have only been dating for atleast 8 months now... Shit, its too early for me to know this information." Samatoki then lights a cigarette, and starts smoking.

Nemu replies "Yeah... We both love eachother very much!! And you're gonna be one of the groomsmen by the way, Tell that to Ichiro too." Samatoki exhales some of the smoke. "Well, I'm happy for you then. When is the marriage?"

"Its gonna be at August 9! Make sure to mark that date on your calendar, okay brother?" Nemu says happily.

"Yeah, yeah... Got it. See you, Nemu." Aannd, the call ends there.

Ichiro overheard everything, and was surprised. "Wait... Nemu's getting married?!" He says in a shocked voice. Samatoki takes a puff of his cigarette, and replies "Yeah. She told me to tell you that you're one of the groomsmen, by the way." Samatoki then exhales the smoke.

"Oh, really? I'm so happy for her!! Whens the wedding?" Ichiro says, happily. "Im pretty sure its on August 9. I'm gonna make some coffee, you want some?" Samatoki says. Ichiro nods, wanting some of Samatoki's coffee since every coffee he makes is always good.

Samatoki then stands up from the bed, and heads to the kitchen where his beloved coffee maker is. He starts to brew up some dark coffee for himself, and then a latte for Ichiro. Ichiro heads to the couch on the living room, waiting for Samatoki to finish brewing the coffee.

After Samatoki finishes brewing the coffee, he approaches Ichiro and hands his latte over to him. "Here." they both sit in silence on the couch, drinking their coffee.

Until, Samatoki breaks the silence. "Hey, Ichiro. Do you ever think of getting married soon?" Ichiro replies, "Well, yeah. But with you? Nah. If we were to get married... We'd probably instantly have a divorce and then re-marry again because of all the fights we have..." Ichiro sips his latte. "Wow. So you think us getting married isnt gonna work out?" Samatoki says, and Looks at Ichiro with a hint of annoyance in his eyes. "Thats not what i meant!! I mean... I do want to get married with you too but... Dont you think im correct?" Ichiro looks back at him with a bit of troubled eyes. Samatoki replies, "I guess you're right... But why cant we just give it a shot?" Samatoki seems a bit desperate to Marry ichiro.

"Man, why are we talking about marriage right now? Lets just leave that to the future... Lets focus on Nemu's marriage right now, okay?" Ichiro smiles at Samatoki softly. "Okay, fine." Samatoki says, taking a sip of his coffee.

A week later, Everyone now knows about Nemus Marriage on August 9, and they all seem really happy for her. Everyone has already been getting ready, and Samatoki and Ichiro has been helping Nemu out with the planning of her wedding, and also helping out with the payments.

2 Days have passed by now, it is already August 5. The preparations are almost ready for the wedding.
