A thousand years ago Gregorian Calendar...
"Mom! Mom! Look at this" A little girl jumped off her uncle, running with her little legs towards her mother who just arrived from grocery shopping.
"Now now sweetie, mama is busy..." Her mother was carrying heavy bags, thankfully, her father came just in time to help her remove the load. "Thank you dear" Her mother smiled at him
"Sister, i'm glad you invited me, it's been a while since we hopped for a chat" A tall man with silver hair and blue eyes stood up from the couch
"Kevin, how have you been?" Kevin was the man's name. He was the little girl's Maternal uncle. Since he was the mother's younger brother. "Apologies for inviting you, i know you're busy with a lot of things"
"No no sister, you mentioned in the text you want to speak with me...privately about a matter" Ah of course, their little reunion happened because of important business.
"Brother-in-law, after you speak with her, please stay for dinner." The little girl's father spoke while tying up his apron
Kevin quirked a brow "You handle all the household chores?"
Her father chuckled "Why of course, I'm merely one hell of a househusband"
Despite his lighthearted words, three of them knew the girl's father wasn't just a mere househusband. But Kevin humored him by laughing along, not pointing out his lie.
The brother and sister walked towards the garden outside the kitchen, the garden had a full bloomed cherry tree and plum tree. With bok choy and beans growing on each side.
"Kevin...what did the administration say..?" Her mother's look changed into worry "Sister, they're already setting a life plan for your daughter. It's...not a good news to begin with"
The mother's palm clenched into a fist "They've been pressuring me to arrange my son into a marriage as early as i can, now they're dictating my daughter's life!? Who do they think they are!?"
"They're our ancestors."
"But still-!"
The mother paused, realizing she lost her temper. "I was the previous Queen of Teyvat before the wretched woman framed me for crimes she did. I thought losing my position will finally end everything. My daughter...I don't want her to know about that world...nor do i want her to learn the truth!"
