To Heeseung's dismay, the weather had made a drastic change between when he had left for work and his journey back to his car that was parked in the parking lot of his workplace. Although he didn't dislike the rain, he now feels that perhaps he should reconsider his feelings about it. Though he wasn't as drenched as the other figures who ran in the rain, his hair, however, still dripped with water, and his trousers awkwardly clung to his legs.
He exhaled with exhaustion as he lowered his head onto the steering wheel.
After a tiring day, all the man wanted to do was go home and sleep. Unfortunately for him, he had to go see his best friend who had called him to see if the man was busy, to which Heeseung replied with a 'nope'.
To cut a long story short, Heeseung, who regrets telling Jay he wasn't busy, found himself parked outside the man's bakery.
Finally deciding to step out onto the damp pavement, he hurriedly locked his car and ran towards the other side of the road in the direction of the building.
His sense of smell was enveloped with pastries immediately after he opened the door that jingled with a small gold bell. Mild conversations were heard all around the building, but his attention was settled onto Jay who was trying to open a package with a boxcutter and a pretty blonde who was softly laughing at the struggling man.
Wait...
Pretty blonde?
Heeseung set his sights on the giggling boy in question. The boy had honey-coloured tanned skin, pink, huge, soft lips and big eyes that resembled a cute puppy.
An amused cough jolted Heeseung out of his pining.
"Heeseung, stop staring at my worker and come help me in the back." Heeseung flushed and tried to come up with a good excuse.
"I wasn't looking... I was heading into the back anyway."
Jay gives a teasing grin towards the black-haired male, he then turns towards the surprised blonde. "Sorry, I need to go do some things in the back. Would it be okay for you to handle the customers on your own?" Jay asked. "Yeah, it's fine; it's not really busy today anyway." the boy said, giving him a quick smile while retying his apron.
Jay responded with a thumbs up and dashed to the back, where a mumbling Heeseung could be spotted.
He shut the door and turned to face the man.
"What was that?"
Heeseung looked at him in question, "What was what?"
Jay scoffed in amusement.
