Chapter 8

*Rascal turns on his tv and turns on something to watch while Liam sleeps, after a few minutes Hazel walks in*

Hazel: "Well this is a first, normally both of you boys are asleep, is something wrong?"

Rascal: "Just thinking that's all Mom"

*Hazel walks over and sits down beside him*

Hazel: "What's on you're mind?"

Rascal: "I keep getting a love letter by someone, but they don't say who they are..."

Hazel: "Oh.. I had that happen once"

Rascal: "Really?"

Hazel: "Mhm"

Rascal: "Did you ever find out who it was?"

Hazel: "Yep, it was you're Dad, he was to scared to tell me"

Rascal: "How'd you find out???"

Hazel: "Well, who ever it was knew me really well so it was obviously my friend or someone I'm close with, so I looked and watched how my friends write them compared the hand writing, and compared to everyone else, you're Dads hand writing was quite messy back then"

Rascal: "Do you think maybe I can do the same?"

Hazel: "Maybe, you really have to pay attention though, also if they act suspicious around you, or make a lot of excuses to be somewhere"

Rascal: "Liam's be odd lately... and he's been running off a lot.... I wonder if it's him..."

Hazel: "Maybe, you just have to see"

Rascal: "Thanks Mom"

Hazel: "You're welcome, I hope you find out"

Rascal: "Me too, I'd love to know who it is.."

Hazel: "Well wake Liam up and head down stairs I have dinner ready"

Rascal: "Okay Mom"

*Hazel walks out of the room, Rascal wakes up Liam, Liam gets up*

Liam: "Dinner I'm assuming is ready?.."

Rascal: "Yeah"

Liam: "Okay"

{After dinner:}

*Rascal and Liam head back to the bedroom and lay back down*

Rascal: "Hey Liam?"

Liam: "Hm?"

Rascal: "Do you like me?.."

Liam: "No-, why?.."

Rascal: "Just wondering"

Liam: "oh"

*Rascal lays his head on his pillow and turns his back to Liam, Liam hugs Rascal from behind and falls asleep, Rascal stays up a little while longer, then finally goes to sleep*

{Next morning:}

*Rascal gets up and gets dressed then wakes Liam up, Liam gets up and gets dressed as well, Rascal heads to the driveway to wait on the bus*

And he's not here again... *sigh* I wonder what he's doing... Maybe he is the one who wrote the letters...

{Liam's Pov:}

And he threw my letter away again! Am I doing something wrong???? Maybe I should add something with the letter. . . But. . . What?. . . Maybe a flower he likes? But what flower does he like. . . Oh yeah he likes roses, white roses but where and how the hell can I get him some? Maybe later tonight I can go to the store before they close and buy him some and add them to my new letter, but I'd better hurry he's probably worried about where I am. 

*Liam walks down stairs and to the drive way with Rascal*

Liam: "Are you okay Rascal?"

Rascal: "Mhm just thinking"

Liam: "Okay.."
