(A few months later, inside Grell's apartment)
Ebony sits on her bed in her room, reading Shakespeare's latest drama, alone, when Grell bursts through the door. She's wearing her average outfit, minus the scythe, which Ebony was helping revise. Her mouth was pulled into a sharp smile, and she ran up to Ebony, dropping the books on her bed. "I got you enrolled in school!" She said, jumping up and down on the matress, causing Ebony to set down her book and look up.
"I have told you, I do not need to be schooled. I already have the knowledge I will need for the human world." Ebony says, turning back to her book. Grell continues jumping on the bed until she gives up. "Fine. I will attend school. But only for one term."
"Yay!" Grell yells, "I'm so excited for you! You start in a week!" She skips out of the room, leaving Ebony alone with the school books and rolling eyes.
(A few months back, where part two left off at 2:17)
"Welcome, Grell to warped time." Ebony said, as Grell stepped into the room after her. The vast room was pristine white, no smudges or imperfections anywhere. The room was completely blank, with nothing but the portal back to the frozen world on one of the walls.
"Where is everything?" Grell asks, noting that there isn't any furniture or décor on the walls.
"It's warped time, dummy. Imagine something and it'll appear." Ebony replied, as if everyone knows about warping time and it's properties. She gestures for Grell to try.
After a few moments of concentration, a figure appears in the center of the room. At first, his features are a bit hard to make out. He's unusually tall, wearing all black with black hair. He stands with his feet apart and his legs together, in a regal stance. When his features are clear, you'd be able to tell he was around 20 to 30 and had the worlds sexiest look on his face. He had a long nose and narrow brown eyes, and his mouth was pulled into a slight smile that matched the hand held on his chest in a polite greeting.
Grell ran at him immediately, and fel as he disappeared into the mist in which he came. Ivory flew over and pecked at her glasses. Ebony stood over Grell and , scowling more than usual. "I said some thing. Not some one. Only I can do that. Who was that. A demon?"
Grell stood up and apologized, but said nothing else.
"Imagine a little red ball. In my hand. It helps to close your eyes." Ebony said, slow and clear. Almost instantly, the ball appeared out of mist in her hand. She gave Grell a look of approval, even though ahe winced. Again. Grell picked it up and laughed when it didn't disappear or deflate. She looked at Ebony, who was beginning to look as if she were in pain.
Grell must not have noticed it, because she looked around and made a bottle of alcohol appear in her own hand. One again, Ebony cringed. And she kept cringing every time Grell made something. Chair. Chair. New scythe. Scythe. Sliced tomatoes. Sliced tomatoes. Cute dog. Dog. - until Ebony screamed at Grell to stop. She was panting and sweating the Nile river.
"Stop?" Grell questioned.
"Please. It wastes my energy for you to create things. Let me do it, now on." She said, her voice barley a whisper. "Also, the scythe. It looks pretty cool."
The Death Scythe looked like a million dollars. It was a long flat piece of metal with spikes around the edge that would chase eachother when turned on. It was also red, which was Grell's favourite color.
She beamed and followed Ebony out of the time warp, back into reality at 2:17.
(Back into the world of a few months later)
Ebony stood at the corner of the apartment complex, waiting for the bus, as another girl walked up to her. The girl smiled at Ebony, and Ebony, being Ebony, held out her hand to shake. The Grim Reaper girl shook it lightly, like she was making a risky bet.
"I'm Ebony, and this is Possum, My owl." Ebony decided to give Ivory a fake name, so kids at school wouldn't freak out at the fact her sister was an owl.
"I'm Hevanna, and I'm not sure I've seen you before." She says, slowly.
"That's because I'm new." Ebony replies, not missing a beat. "I was only born a few months ago."
Baffled, Hevanna backs up. "Are you that freak moderator chick?" She says, accusingly. "How are you even old enough to attend?"
"I have gentrokenesis. I can age faster than you can process a thought." Ebony says, quickly. "Also, I'm smarter than you and all of your peers combined. Age has no affect on intelligence."
Hevanna looks like she's just won the lottery. "Do you have powers?"
"A few."
"Can you show me?"
"Can you handle it?"
Hevanna takes one last look at Ebony as the bus pulls up. Ebony gets on as Hevanna finds that her legs can't move. She is pulled by an invisible hand onto the bus and into the seat next to Ebony. Ebony doesn't speak.
"Yes."
