The Dream

When I awoke I found myself in a strange place. There were tree's gathered in a circle with a big tree stump in the middle. I look around seeing no sign of animals or nature other than the circle of 6 tall, leafy trees. I walk to the big stump in the middle, curious to see if it has any clue as to where I am. I reach out and gently touch it only to look up and see that i'm near a small river. I walk to the edge and see a woman in a long, beautiful dress, the ends of it in the small river. She isn't facing me but I can see that her head is pointed upwards to the sky. I look up to see small clouds slightly moving and when I look back at the woman she's staring at me... Right into my soul. Her eyes are black and her mouth is wide, her teeth look sharp as she smiles at me.

"You~" She lowly say's in a way a grandfather would yell at young children. She points at me, slowly walking to me. In a panic I turn around and run, starting to get scared. As I run I see hills in the distance. I quicken my pace. "You can't forever~" She once again calls out, catching up with me. I try to run around trees and bushes to lose her but end up failing as she gets closer. "I love the chase~" She dryly chuckles. I turn slightly to see where she is but stop when I don't see the woman anymore. Suddenly the same woman is in front of me and multiple others surrounding me. They all look the same... Long white hair, white dress, big black soulless eyes, and teeth sharper than a great white shark's. They all reach out and grab me, dragging me back towards the river as I kick. When I try to scream they cover my mouth.

Soon they have me at the river's edge. They all push me to my knees and hover my face over the water. When I see my reflection I realize that I look just like them. They suddenly plunge my face into the water and hold me down. I feel the cold water sting my face like thousands of tiny needles piercing my skin from how cold it is.

I suddenly awake, screaming loudly. When I turn on my bedside lamp I look into the mirror to see my reflection... And I let out a piercing scream as I still look like the woman.
