Writing our love

Chapter 1

"Come on you chubby dog I need to get some serious work done" she groaned trying to drag her ridiculously heavy husky to the convenience store. As she tugged on the leash he remained plopped down on the floor barely moving an inch as he licked his paw.

It was a Tuesday night and as per usual it was time for minjeong to write the new chapter of her romance novel. It was about a seemingly loving couple that followed a small unrequited love between their best friends. It was truly a confusing concept that her manager mentioned but she was determined to make it work. And without a doubt it did happen and it turned into her biggest hit yet. All her fans loved it and it made minjeong truly feel happy for once.

If she was ever going to write the new chapter of the story she needed her chubby dog to get his bum up and there was only one possible way to do that.

"If you get up I'll get you a peanut butter cup again, how does that sound Ddunggeun?" the big husky started to wag his tail aggressively as he pounced around in the air. "Well someone's finally excited to go now" she smiled as they continued walking to the store following the cute path from her parents house.

It was nearing the end of the year and writing was the only thing that could get rid of all the stress about the exams. Thankfully there was none until two months prior to her release date of the new book. This deadline was really killing her, all she wanted to do was stay home rotting in her bed with her big dog. It wasn't like she was able to do that but there was only one thing that she hated most.

It was missing her deadline.

One thing to know about minjeong was that she did not like to procrastinate at all. If there was a project due next year she would gladly burn herself out to get it finished in the span of two months. That how much she cared about her writing. She couldn't let her readers down, and her manager taeyon who was the best person in the world. Minjeong had been working with her since she was 15,  it seems pretty young but the older girl didn't force her to do it. She had gotten scouted after winning a prize at a competition for a writing piece so obviously she had to jump at the idea of making minjeong a writer.

As she made it to the store she opened the doors immediately walking to the drinks section to pick her favorite thing in the world.

Milk.

See it seemed quite bland but it really wasn't. Ning always said that drinking milk helps the bones and height. And it wasn't like she hated other drinks, it was more like a comfort option to her. And she did want strong bones and not an old lady hunchback like her English teacher. Strolling her way to the candy section she picked up a pack of peach gummies and gummy bears. She figured she'd need an extra pack, not to eat now but tomorrow at school of course too much candy would keep her up late again.

Feeling her chubby dog nuzzling up against her leg as he kept whining progressively getting louder she realized she almost forgot her promise. "Alright alright we'll get you your peanut cup" she said, patting the fluff ball as he barked happily.

Grabbing the peanut cup she figured that was enough and placed the basket onto the register. She reached into her bag searching for her wallet.

"Will that be all?" a familiar voice asked as she looked up and too her shock it was none other than jimin. The Yu Jimin! The prettiest girl at her school was standing right in front of her dressed in a convenience store outfit and yet she still looked so freaking cute. But sadly she didn't know minjeong since she didn't like to stand out at school much.

"N-no it's alright" she replied handing jimin her card watching her as she swiped it waiting for the payment to go through before smiling at minjeong and giving back the card. She looked back up at the girl and before taking her stuff and finding a seat.
