(Kie)Opening the door to my dorm should have gave me a rush of excitement and joy as they say. But the only feeling I had was pity.
Pity because I knew the real reason I was even this far away from my hometown. There were a bunch of other colleges I could have chosen that were closer to Outer Banks but I decided to go as far away as I possibly could.
Where no one knew who I was, where I could start all over again.
Back there I was the party bitch, getting drunk every weekend, high every morning. Every time I pulled up to a party everyone would expect me to do some crazy shit. For example, jumping off roofs, doing the most insane dares and life threatening pranks but here?
I was just a normal 18 year old girl, with the biggest marine biology passion known to human.I sighed and dropped my bags on the ground. I began snooping around, after all it was all mine. It wasn't too shabby. A kitchen, two large rooms, a bathroom and a living room.
I thought it was perfect, I started unpacking once I had everything planned out in my room. The only thought on my mind was my roommate.
Hopefully they weren't a bitch with a stick up their ass, and they shared the same interests as me. Either way, I couldn't wait to meet them.
