I woke up the next morning to Adam's warm arms wrapped around me. I rolled over and looked at his face, peacefully sleeping. Normally I would NEVER sleep with someone on a first date but Adam.... He was different. I didn't know what it was, but when I looked into his eyes there was something there. Something telling me that he was right.

I saw Adam stir and his eyes flickered open. "Good morning, baby." He said as he planted a soft kiss on my lips. "Are you okay?"

"Better than ever.'' I replied planting another soft kiss on his lips.

I had been hoping that we would be able to spend more time together, maybe having a nice breakfast and watching some tv or something when he got up and quickly began looking for his pants. "Adam, what's wrong?"

"Elisabeth, I'm so sorry but I need to go. It has nothing to do with you! I swear! I just remembered that my limo and its driver have been waiting outside all night and he's gonna be so mad at me!" He found his pants and began to wiggle back into them. "I'm sorry baby but I gotta go! Ill call you!" He crawled back on the bed to give me one last kiss, this one wasn't soft though, it was hard and vigorous. His hands were running through my hair and down my back. Finally he broke away and ran out the door and I was left alone, naked in my bed.

I was eating a simple breakfast of cereal and milk when I heard my doorbell ring. I had no idea who it could be, I hadn't made any plans with anyone. I went to the door and opened it, but I didn't find a person. Instead, I found an enormous bouquet of roses with a note on it. I smelt the roses, brought them back into my house and put them in a vase with water. Then, a pulled out the note.

"Elisabeth, I miss you already. I know we just met but something about you feels right. Meet me at my house tonight at 7. Love, Adam" below he left his address. I held the not to my chest and smiled. The feign was mutual. I wasn't just another one of Adam Levine's one night stand. He actually cared about me. How was all this happening to a normal, small town girl like me?

I spent the rest of the day in a haze. I couldn't wait to go to Adam's house tonight! What did he have in store for me? What should I wear?

And then of course I couldn't decide whether or not I should tell Morgan everything that was happening between Adam and me.

I decided I should wait a little longer and see where our relationship was going before I told her.

I began listening to music and doing chores around the house. I was so caught up in my work that I completely lost track of the time. I looked down at my phone to see how much longer I had until I had to get ready. It was 6:45. "Shit." I was supposed to be leaving right then. My hair was still damp from the shower I took earlier and I hadn't picked out an outfit yet. I dropped my work and bolted upstairs. I threw my hair up in a bun and quickly applied my make up. Foundation. Blush. Eyeshadow. Eyeliner. Mascara. Perfect. Thank god I'm a make up master. Finally I jumped into my favorite yoga pants and a white v-neck. I looked in the mirror. "Well this is as good as its gonna get tonight." I mumbled to myself as I hoped that Adam didn't have anything nice planned for us.

I grabbed my keys, and flew down the stairs. I hopped into my car as fast as possible. Only five minutes behind schedule. Not bad. I shoved the keys into the ignition, backed out of the driveway, and I was on my way.
