Blair was busy with the final touches on her outfit before hearing her doorbell ring. she then proceeded to make her way downstairs fixing her hair before opening the door.
standing in front of her was rudy looking different than the last time she saw him,to say that he looked good was an understatement she herself didn't even realise that he was holding a bouquet of flowers in his hands.
"you gonna just stand there or...?"rudy asked awkwardly "oh come in i was just about to fetch zendaya's gift and my bag" she let out opening the door further to let him in.
"these are for you by the way" he said before handing her the flowers that he came with. "you didn't have to but thanks" she let before going to look for a vase so she could place them in there.
"soo,why'd you decide that you want me as your plus one for your friends party?"he asked as he went over to the living room couches. "what do you mean?"blair acted clueless as to what and why he was asking that question.
"i'm not stupid sere you know very well what i mean,me and you haven't talked for a long time and you decide to call me to come with you to a party" he added.sere was a name rudy usually used for blair,which she honestly did like when he called her that.it showed that they both definitely had something together before.
blair turned to look at him after putting the vase on the kitchen table looking towards where he was sitting "well i missed you and wanted to find a way for us to pick up from where we left off" she replied.she was telling the truth,at least half of it. rudy chose to believe that,even though he knew that she was still hiding something he just couldn't put his finger on what exactly she was probably hiding
"okay,anyway let's go we'll talk in the car",he said before making his way to the door waiting for blair to fetch her stuff . he then opened it letting her go out first then proceeded to make his way to the car opening the door for blair to get inside first then proceeded to make his way inside . "thanks" she smiled.
blair really like rudy for multiple reasons. first one, him being a gentleman,the other reasons was for him knowing her very well because he was always a good and attentive listener.but the only problem was that blair didn't always realise that because the only time they would spend time together was to mostly have sex together , rudy once suggested for something more than that but pulled back his statement because he didn't want to ruin what they had together.
