Chapter 4

Hongjoong POV:

It surprised me a bit when I was talking with her earlier and how she agreed to help us. But with what I had said to her. I think she had thought it through and shoved away the negative thoughts. While driving I saw her looking over the file I had given her. Hearing her talk and the accent she had took me by surprise. I didn't know what was going on with my mind. Each time I heard her speak it made me feel flustered or shy suddenly. "How do you know all of that?"

Ace: "Well the field I was in. I studied it a lot as a kid so I knew a lot of information before I started being trained. Just a curious question. What's got you so spaced out suddenly the moment we met up tonight? I see the flushed look on your face."

Hongjoong: "It's nothing. Just kinda on high alert for now. We're here now. Be quick getting inside in case anybody may decide to walk into our land."

Ace: We rushed into the house quickly and I saw the others sitting in the living room. "Hello been a bit since we last saw each other. I've been requested for service and have decided to help. I've already got some notes taken and know certain locations on where the impostors have been marking at making it look like you guys. I must be cautious as I come here and back to my home." 

Yunho: "W-wait you're actually helping us? Captain is this really happening?"

Hongjoong: "Yes jeong. It is really happening. Don't harm her at all. It will be even once she gets her revenge after what's happened to her. So dare to lay a hand on her and you won't see the light of day ever again make myself clear?"

Mingi: "Y-yes captain"

*two hours later*

Ace: "So that's where you're located at you rats. So be it. This will be easy to wire-tap your security system. Watch this"

Seonghwa: Seeing what she did surprised us a lot. "H-how were you able to override the system?"

Ace: "I may or may not have done it a couple times as a kid and never got caught for it. Also their security system was very weak and the pass-codes were very easy to over-ride and hack through. Just a curious question I have. Out of the four of you who is in charge of technology?"

Hongjoong: "That would be Song. May I ask what happened to come to your mind on this?"

Ace: "Well seeing how this was an easy over-ride to hack through and stop them. It could help you when your security or something won't work the way it used to be. Possibly upgrade it a bit or make it stronger and extremely harder to get hacked or overridden and you won't ever be able to get caught or tracked at all when you do it."

Mingi: "That actually sounds like a good idea honestly. You would make a good addition to the team if you choose to keep helping us. It's up to you though because we can't call the shots only the captain can call the shots or orders."

Hongjoong: "I agree with what you say. I never thought that part through with the security system. You make a really good spy. With this we will start again in the morning. Everyone to bed now. Everything is locked up and nobody will be able to get close to this house without setting off the motion sensors and giving us a signal."

Ace: "Very well captain. As you all know I do have my other life. So I have to be careful with when I leave and not be followed. So there may be days when I can't be here and have to stay back."

Yunho: "It's understandable. I mean look at what we do."

Ace: "Yeah" I laughed a bit and so did they.

Seonghwa: "Joongie you good there?"

Ace: "Was that a nickname for him?"

Seonghwa: "You didn't tell her?"

Hongjoong: "Now is not the time to speak about that. Bed everyone."

Ace: "Yes captain"

*middle of the night*

Ace: I heard what sounded like footsteps in the hall. I looked at the time on my phone. It was close to almost one in the morning. I got up quietly and walked out of the room I was given. While walking in the hall I saw a light was on when I remembered all the lights were turned off before we went to bed. I was glad I had kept my blade handy just in case of anything. As I went towards the light more I stopped when I heard the sound of footsteps. As I rounded the corner I saw him.

Hongjoong: "What's wrong? Why do you have a blade?"

Ace: "I heard a noise and decided to check it out. The light was on when before we went to sleep it was turned off. So kinda raised some red flags. Never know who it may be when it's quiet and all you hear are footsteps"

Hongjoong: "Sorry for waking you. You can go back to sleep now."

Ace: "How come you're up at such a time?"

Hongjoong: "I don't really sleep much at all"

Ace: "How about this? I'll make you a drink than you'll go to sleep. My friends would make this for me when I would be up for a couple days with no sleep back in college. It helped me a lot honestly."

Hongjoong: "What's it called?"

Ace: "Chamomile tea. Trust me on this after maybe the third sip you'll feel relaxed and want to sleep." I got the ingredients out to make the tea. "Might as well make myself some cause I struggle with sleep as it is."

Hongjoong: "Sleep schedule a mess"

Ace: "Define even having a sleep schedule most of the time?" After a couple minutes I poured the tea in two mugs. I handed him the one mug. "So how does it taste?"

Hongjoong: "It's actually really good. I think I'm gonna go to sleep soon"

Ace: "Yeah that's the point of the drink. Helps you fall asleep. Trust me in the morning you'll feel better afterwards. Come on let's go upstairs to sleep. You can sleep in my room for tonight"

Hongjoong: "Alright."

Ace: Once we got back to my room I saw how he struggled to stay awake. The name of the tea was nicknamed the sleepy tea because of how it makes you feel tired but helps with sleep. Once covered up with the blankets I watched as he fell asleep quickly. "Sleep well Joongie see you in the morning. Love you." With that I let my eyes close as sleep took over me.
