I sat up in the bed I was in. Where am I? It occurred to me that I just spent the night because Michael was too lazy to take me home. I yawned and looked around, it looked like Jordan's room.
I got out of bed and started for the door but tripped.
"Ouch." I said looking at what I tripped on. It was Jordan! Oh great.
"I see you're awake." He said in a raspy morning tone.
"Yeah I am." I sat cross-legged next to him. "Why am I in your room instead of Josh's?" I asked.
"I volunteered." He smirked.
I rolled my eyes. "Come downstairs when you want to."
I stood and walked to the door, opened it and ran down the stairs. I was going to cook breakfast but Josh already was, he looked weird.
"You alright, Joshy?" I asked wrapping my arms around his neck from behind and tried resting my head on his shoulder.
He shrugged. "Eh."
I frowned, he was acting different. "What's up with you?"
"Jordan, he's such a dick."
I figured he was talking about "volunteering" for me to stay in his room. "Nothing happened, Josh." I turned him to face me. "Nothing happened."
He nodded and kissed my cheek. I smiled but he frowned, I looked the way he was. There was Jordan, he looked like he was ready to explode.
I quickly wrapped my arms around Josh's torso to keep him safe, Jordan glared at Josh and left.
"What's up with him?" I asked Josh.
"You haven't noticed?" He replied back.
I looked down dropping my arms from Josh. "I guess I have."
"Don't worry." He said and left the kitchen after Jordan.
I stood there for a few minutes thinking. Why, Jordan? Just stay out of my life and relationship. I knew I liked Jordan but he was older and I was sort of scared of him, he knew my secret. I shrugged it off and went after them, I walked up to Jordan's room and listened through the door.
"Josh, you know it's hard for me." Jordan's muffled voice said.
"I know you like her. Her and I are best friends though, that's it, even if I do like her more than I should. You may want to make a move before Aaron Dallas does though, I was talking to him and he said he was going to ask her out." Josh said back to Jordan.
My jaw dropped and I ran into Josh's room. I hopped in his bed and held his blankets close to me, they smelled like him, it was soothing. Josh and Jordan must have heard my footsteps because they came just a minute later. I acted like I was asleep but I just didn't want to talk.
