I Once Loved A Girl

I once loved a girl with beautiful blonde hair,
Hair that glowed in the sunlight,
A girl with a smile as bright as the sun.
I've had a crush on girls before but she was different,
There was something about her that made me feel more,
The feelings I had for her I only had for guys before,
There was something about her that made my heart soar.
I didn't understand those feelings back then,
I was confused and a little ashamed.
Now that I'm older I understand things about my feelings then,
I wish I had the courage to tell her how I felt.
Even if she would have rejected me I would have felt better about my feelings,
She made me realize who I am,
How I truly feel inside,
She made me accept the real me.
She's the reason I'm not ashamed to admit I'm bisexual,
That's who I am,
I can't change it,
No matter how people view me or bisexuality,

I finally love and accept myself,
