"Omg! I'm so excited for the prom!" Tili ni Luna. She's been talking about it since yesterday.
"Are you okay, bro?" I heard Michael's voice. Tinignan ko naman si Neo at napansin ko ngang tulala ito.
"A-ah oo." He answered then nagpaalam nang umalis. Me and Michael looked at each other.
"Uy! Uy! Bakit nyo ako dinala dito?" Pagpupumiglas ni Neo. Hila-hila nakin sya ni Michael dito sa mall.
"Mags-shopping tayo." I smiled sweetly. He looked scared.
"Uy! Wag! Tara na. Balik na tayo." Nagpupumiglas sya sa hawak namin ni Michael.
"No need to worry sa bayad, bro. Kami na ang bahala." Michael winked at him.
"Wag na, bro. Nakakahiya na talaga. Hindi na nga ako nag ambag nung nag samgyup tayo tapos ililibre nyo pa ako dito. I'm good. I'm good." Sabi nya habang naka-thumbs up.
"Neo, wag ka nang umangal. Andito na tayo oh." I said.
"Pero-" hindi nya na natapos ang sasabihin nya dahil hinila na namin sya papunta sa isang kilalang store dito sa mall.
Ako ang namili ng mga susuotin nilang dalawa para sa prom. Our theme is "Enchanted Elegance: A Night Under the Stars". So basically, nasa field kami nito and mags-stargazing. It's more like Hollywood Glamour.
"Bagay na bagay sayo." I said looking at Neo.
I picked a Silver Classical Tuxedo with satin peak lapels for him. I partnered it with a black Rhinestone bow tie and a Satin Trimmed Pants which compliments his Height. I add a crystallised cuff link in a star symbol and a Starry-three dimensional Watch. His shoes is a black-colored velvet dress shoes.
"Wait, parang may kulang." I said while scanning him. "Ah ito!" sabi ko sabay kuha ng dour pointed stud earrings. "Ayan! Bagay ba bagay!" I said while clapping. Michael agreed.
"Mukha ka nang tao, bro." Pagbibiro ni Michael at agad naman syang siniko ni Neo.
"Gago 'to ah."
Bagay na bagay sa personality at features ni Neo ang outfit nya. Neo has a twinkling eyes, ear-to-ear grin, and playfulness in every interaction. Nakakahawa ang mga tawa nito kaya kahit hindi nakakatawa ang mga jokes nya ay matatawa ka parin dahil sa tawa nya. Optimistic syang tao kaya lagi nyang tinitignan ang positive side sa lahat ng problema. Adventurous syang tao at syempre he has this Heartfelt humor that makes us laugh.
"Wow, pre! Ikaw ba yan? Pahawak nga." Bulala ni Neo pagkatapos magbihis ni Michael. Pabiro syang inambahan ng suntok ni Michael.
Michael wore a black tuxedo with crystals na nagmumukhang mga bituin. It also has a gold embellishment in it's side. His insides were color white then ang bow tie nya ay crystallised din. We put a Meteor Shower Lapel Chain to add eye-catching decoration sa tuxedo nya. We accessorised him by wearing a Roman King bracelet. He's wearing a black leather dress shoes.
His outfit also compliments his features and personality.
Unlike Neo, Michael has a steadfast gaze, reserved smile, measured movements, and articulate speech. He always use monochromatic palette and maintains a neat and tidy coiffure.
After everything, we decided to eat sa fast food dito sa mall. Gutom na gutom na pala kami at hindi namin ito namamalayan.
"Thank you talaga ha?" Neo broke the silence. "I don't know how to say this but thankful talaga ako." He said sincerely.
"Okay lang yun. No need to worry." I said.
"Hindi nyo naman kailangan gawin 'to eh. I didn't pay for the prom." Sabi nya habang nakayuko.
"I've handled it already so no need to worry." Said by Michael. Halata ang gulat sa mukha ni Neo.
"Sobra na 'to." He said quietly. We assure him na no need to worry since it's our own will to help him.
"Nalulugi na ang business namin and may sakit si Mommy. I don't know what to do. Gusto ko nalang tumigil sa pag-aaral at tulungan si Dad sa business namin but he won't let me. Alam nyo naman kung gaano kahalaga ang education pagdating sa business partnership right?" sabi ni Neo. He's so frustrated. I know that he really wanted to help but hindi nya alam kung paano. "Yung pinaghatian nating pera ay pinangdagdag ko sa Medication ni Mom. At least by that, nakatulong ako."
"Neo, I know it's really hard lalo na pag gusto mong tumulong but you're not capable pa. You can help them by pagiging masunurin at mabait na anak naman. We will help you find a part time job if you really need to help your parents." I offered but my real plan is to ask my parents to help Neo's dad with their business. I looked at Michael and he get it quickly.
Michael's family is a business tycoon. I know it would be a big help if his father would invest on Neo's family business.
I gave Neo money. He refused but kinulit ko sya that's why tinanggap nya nalang.
"Neo, I consider you as my closest friend, more like a brother. Please, consider this as a token for being a good friend." I said.
Hinatid na nila ako sa bahay because they wanted me to rest and get ready for tomorrow's event.
When I got home, I opened my social media account and went shock because I have a lot of notifications.
OMG!
NEO POSTED A PICTURE OF ME ASSISTING MICHAEL ON HIS SUIT! Michael was looking at me intently while I'm busy pining the Lapel Chain.
