After the lunch break, the atmosphere was filled with the sounds of pens scratching against paper and the soft murmurs of the teachers who were conducting their lessons.
In Aashmi's classroom, their chemistry teacher had called out everyone to make a queue and head out for the chemistry laboratory, thus prompting everyone to raise from their seats and form a line. The students made their way to the chemistry lab in excitement.
But their excitement soon changed into annoyance when they saw their classes are combined with class 12.
"Merge kyu hua?" Abhimanyu muttered to himself annoyed by the scene.
"Tumhe hi jldi thi na experiment ki..kro ab." Aashmi taunted standing beside him.
Abhimanyu was about to say something when they heard the voice of the teacher who was going to conduct their practicals, "Okay students, since you all have combined praticals with class 12 so I am alloting you all in groups of two then you can continue with your experiments." She announced, her tone commanding.
The teacher started announcing the groups and while some were happy with their partners while some were not.
Aashmi was partnered with Yuvika and the girls were excited on the other hand, Abhimanyu was partnered with Siya and was having a frown on his face remembering the previous incident.
Ishaan and Saanvi were paired together and they made their way towards their table. Ishaan, meticulously, was involved in the washing of the apparatus required for the experiment when he saw Saanvi looking at someone. He followed her line of sight and saw Raunak, the guy Saanvi had a crush on. He was busy talking to his friends not caring that she was staring at him.
"Stop gawking at him. You are looking like a creep." Ishaan whispered.
"I am not." Saanvi replied kicking at his feet.
"You are. Now stop looking there and hold these." He said and passed her the test-tube he washed.
Meanwhile on the other side, Aashmi and Yuvika were talking to each other.
"Ufff yrr...kitni garmi hai." Aashmi said in irritation.
"Sahi me... upar se ye smell." Yuvika said agreeing with her, putting her head on her shoulder side ways.
"Wahi na..garmi ki kya jarurat ye smell hi hume maar degi." Aashmi responded patting her head like a baby.
"Aree wo chor..tujhe pta h kya hua?" Yuvika said excitedly facing her. Her curiosity to share the details with her best friend was clearly visible in her eyes.
