Marlie's POV

Latina and I had reached the party in time, but I guess we were a little too early because the place wasn't even as packed as we'd expect it to be.

As soon as I walked in, the first person I noticed was ace. 'Damn he looked good '. My subconscious said, as I approached him, realizing that it was the VIP section.

"B". I said, sitting infront of him, making eye contact. "Wahm babes yuh gov?". He got up from his seat and sat beside me, wrapping his arms around me, placing a kiss on my neck. I could feel Latina's eyes staring daggers at him but I knew she cared for my happiness so she wouldn't do anything drastic.

"Yeh me alright but me kinda hungry still". I said, rubbing my belly. ' A suh some oman hungry every minute when dem pregnant? '. I looked down at my stomach and continued to rub it. Ace must've noticed my weird actions because he lifted my head with his index, locking eyes with me again.

"A wah mek you a stare pan your belly suh and a rub it dung?". He asked, looking at my stomach confused. "Mhi just hungry b nuh worry bout it". I smiled, but it didn't reach my eyes.

I got up, taking his hand to make him follow me to the bar where the food was being served. "Yaah move shaky eno and me waah know why". Said ace, trying to keep up with me. "I'm fine babe just hurry up and walk". I said, trying to avoid him from seeing my face.

As we approached the bar, giggling could be heard as I saw the bartender serving drinks to a girl, but aside from her something else caught my eye.

' Nuh Javi dat?' .

Javion was there but he was leaning on a girl against the bar, both of them swallowing each other's tongues. " Nasty". I muttered, taking out my phone to snap a picture. "Why yaah tek picture a di man?". Ace asked, watching me intently. "Nuh worry bout dat just come". I kept walking, heading straight towards them.

The view of Javi and the girl was clearer now, and I actually recognized her. ' Nuh Kayla dat?'. My eyes widned at the sight of her and Javi, seeing how javi's hand was up her dress while they were kissing. ' Eh jhoncrow a finga eh gyal Inna public '. Said my subconscious as I watched them in disgust.

"I lost my appetite". I said, turning to look at ace who was already looking at me. " But me waah tell yuh somu so come mek we go ova desso". Taking his hand, I dragged him to a far dark corner which was out of sight of the public's eye. "Marlie mhi nuh like how yaah drag drag me all bout eh place and a find distractions eno wah really wrong wid yuh?". He asked, looking at me with a suspicious look in his eyes, clouded by confusion.

' I guess I should tell him now '.

"Ace". I took a deep breath, my breathing shaky. Nervousness consumed me and it felt like I was about to pass out. "Mhi have somu fi tell yuh but me waah yuh promise fi nuh tek it no way". The look in his eyes looking so inviting but I had to be prepared just incase he might give a different reaction from the one I'm expecting.

"Me aguh ask yuh somu first ". I said, keeping eye contact with him. "Do you want kids?". I asked feeling nervous by the minute. "Yeh me want kids but nuh right now cause me nuh think me can manage fi do that now". His answer made me feel a little heartbroken, but I carried on. "Ace I'm pregnant".

' di way how e place silent if a puss pass yuh hear him '.

"Marlie a joke yaah mek right?". He began to laugh thinking it was a joke but the truth is I wish it was. "Yuh serious? Yuh actually pregnant?". I nodded, unable to find my voice in this situation.

"B... Me happy fi hear dis but me nuh feel me ready but me naah tell yuh say fi abort it still doh get me wrong but me just surprised ". He said, pulling me into a warm hug making me break down in tears. "I thought you would've been upset or yuh woulda leff me or somu". I chocked inbetween sobs, crying on his shoulder. "Me naah leff mhi oman just cause she a carry mhi baby". His words made me cry even harder.

"So a dis yuh did fraid fi tell mhi?". He asked, pulling away to look at my red puffy face. "Yeh cause me Neva know how yaah go react". I sobbed, rubbing my stinging eyes. "Hush man but just know say no matter what me Naah leff yuh". He said, pulling me back into a hug.

At this time the place was finally being packed with people from all over Kingston and Montego Bay, most of them I recognized but the others were complete strangers. " Neil a real commanaz eno man cause me not even know half a Dem people yah". Ace said making me smile a little.

"Come cause Dem goodly a look fi we too so mek we go back inside e VIP". He said standing up, stretching his long limbs. "Alright come nuh". I got up, walking hand-in-hand with him straight to the VIP section.
