I hate him or do I?

The Mission

Me and my two sibling have been a team for a long as I can remember. Jace Lightwood and Isabella Lightwood. Jace was adopted into my family at a young age and we grew very close to each other in a short amount of time. We became parabatai as soon as we were of age. Isabella and I are also very close and I would do anything to protect her.

That night in the Institute was a very hectic. People were running around everywhere, tracking demon, and going on missions. There has been a rise in demon attacks recently, this night being no different. Me, Izzy and Jace just got back from one mission and were eating dinner when our mom, Maryse who is the head of the institute, came over to us.

"I need you guys to head on another mission to the Pandemonium, we believe there are demons there that need to be found. We need you three to go cause you are some of the best shadowhunters we have and they are really powerful demon there" Maryse said seriously. " We will go grab our weapons and be leaving immediately" said Jace just as seriously, as me and Izzy nod our heads.

As i was grabbing my bow and arrows, I couldn't help but dread this mission. I know that Magnus Bane will be there throwing one of his raves. All the warlock does is throw partys to show off how great he is. But I push that to the back of my head because I have a job to do and no way is Magnus Bane going to interfere with that.

The three of us make our way to the pandemonium when all of the sudden Jace runs into a red headed girl. "Hey, can you watch where you are going" the red head says. She should not be able to see us cause we are glamoured so no mundane can see us, she must have the sight but who is she? "You can see me?" Jace says very confused. "Of course i can see you, but you obviously didn't see me" says the mysterious girl. "You have the sight, who are you?" Jace says even more confused than before. "The what?" she says now also confused. This is where I feel I need to step in cause mundanes are starting to look at the unknown girl like she is crazy, cause to them she looks like she is talking to no one. I walk over to Jace and pull him away from her. "We have a mission to do Jace, let's go" I say as i pull him away. "Do you have any idea who she was?" Jace asks Izzy and I. We both shake our head no as we hear her saying after us "where are you going?" as she also gets pulled away by her friends questioning her who she was talking to.

We finally make it into the bar, all very confused about the unknown girl but decided to let it go for now and focus on finding the demons. The clave told us they believe there is 5 powerful demons somewhere here. We found 3 out of the 5 and are looking for the other 2. I decided to sneak away from my brother and sister to go look at the other side of the bar. That was definitely a bad idea cause I run into Magnus bane. "Magnus Bane, i'm shocked to see you here" I say sarcastically. "Alexander Lightwood, I am just as shocked as you are. Why are you here crashing my rave?" asks Magnus seriously. "I'm here on mission only, I would never come to your raves by choose and if you will excuse me, I'm going back to my mission now. Goodbye Magnus Bane." I say annoyed. I walk away from Magnus before he can say anything back. Ugh i hate him so much, and why does he think he has the power to call me Alexander. I hate when people use the full name, but he is so self centered that he thinks has the right to do anything he wants. I was so lose in thought and anger from Magnus, I didn't realize the demon in front of me until it was to late. The demon attacked me and I didn't have time to reach for my bow and arrow. Everything suddenly goes black but I faintly hear someone screaming my name before I fully black out.
