What Happened?

When i wake up, i don't recognize where i am and don't remember much. The last think i remember was being on a mission with Jace and Izzy. Where am i? I thought to myself. I tried to get up but was met with extreme pain causing to lay back down immediately. "Hello?" I say hoping someone is here and can explain where i am and what happened. A few seconds later, someone walked in and it took me a second to realize who. Magnus Bane.

"Oh you are finally awake, i was wondering when you would wake up" Magnus says calmly. "Where am i? Where is Jace and Izzy? Are they okay? Why are you here? What happ-" Magnus cuts of my rambling of questions. "First you are in my apartment. Second your sibling are back at the Institute and are completely okay. Third a demon attacked you and you blacked out for 3 days." Magnus explained. "You never answered why you are here and why i am in your apartment" i say curiously. "Oh because i saved your life and brought you here to heal your injuries cause you were to hurt to get you back to the Institute" Magnus says casually. This leaves me with even more questions, why would magnus save me? Why would he heal my injuries, especially why would be bring me back to his apartment and let me say here? Magnus could tell that i was confused. "Not all warlocks are bad you know?" he say smugly. I roll my eyes and try to get up again. This time the pain is worse causing me to scream in pain and fall to the ground. Magnus runs over to me and uses his magic to help make some of the pain go away and helps me get back on to the bed i was in. "Thank you" I say actually meaning it, cause even if i hate him he when out of his way to help me. "I'm going to go make some breakfast, do you like pancakes?" Magnus asks with a smile. "Yes i actually love pancakes, also do you know where my phone is? i need to call Jace and Izzy and let them know i am okay." I say. "Yeah, here you go. I have been updating them every so often and they have been here to visit by the way." I just nod cause i don't know what to do, I'm supposed to hate this warlock but he is caring for me more than anyone has ever before.

I sent Jace and Izzy a text telling them i am awake and okay. They responded immediately, thanking the angels i'm alive and say they will be there in an hour to bring me back to the Institute. I thank them cause i don't want to stay here any long, i feel bad that Magnus has cared for me this long. When i have hated him for years. Why would he go out of his way to save me when i have been awful to him? My thoughts were cut short when Magnus came in with pancakes and orange juice. He tells me to eat, it will help get my energy up. "I have a question" i say after a few minutes of silence of us enjoy the pancakes. "ask away" Magnus says. "Who bed is this?" i say curiously. "It's mine, why do you want to spend more time in it" he says with a smirk. "what- no- yes- what-no" i stutter back blushing embarrassed. Magnus just laughs at my embarrassment. What is happening to me, why is he making me nervous? I'm supposed to hate him. "I was asking cause where have you been sleeping for the past 3 day?" I say seriously, trying to gain my confidence back. "In my bed" Magnus says seriously. I give him a shocked scared look. When he say bursting out laughing, "You should see your face! I have been on the couch, don't worry i won't sleep in the same bad without your permission" He says while laughing. I start to laugh a little too, maybe i was wrong about the warlock. He isn't so bad as i thought.

My thoughts were cut off again, this time by a knock at the door. "That must be Jace and Izzy, they said they were coming back to to get me since i woke up" i say slightly sadly cause i wanted to spend more time with the warlock but ready to get out of her cause he makes me feel nervous. I don't know why, i have never felt nervous like this around anyone before. Magnus gets the door and brings Jace and Izzy to the room i'm in. As soon as they see me they run to give me a group hug and say things like "I'm so glad you are ok" and thing like that. Magnus uses more magic on me to help me be able to stand with the help of Jace support most of my body weight. " I will teleport you guys by to the Institute so you won't have to walk far like that, Alexander make sure to rest a lot and drink lots of water ok? You can call me if any complications come back." Magnus says calmly as he hands me a piece of paper with his number on it. "Thank you for everything Magnus" I say with a smile as he teleports us back to the Institute. Jace walks me to my room and helps me get into to bed. "I'm so glad you are okay Alec, don't ever go away from the group again ok? I can't lose you parabatai, i love you" Jace says worriedly and with love. "I love you too jace" i say with a smile. Then Jace leaves me to rest. I quickly fall asleep, exhausted from everything that happened. The last thing on my mind as i drifted to sleep was Magnus Bane.
