Another week or so passed, I was on my way towards the gym hall from the boys when Momoke walked up to me.

"Hi, wh...", she interrupted me before I could say something.

"Why weren't you there for the practice match yesterday! Coach is very mad at you! Do you want to leave us now? Since when do you care so much about the others and how you get along with them?!", she almost screamed and her eyes were teary.

"I didn't know you had a practice match yesterday, I'm sorry Momoke. And I just can't take it mentally anymore... plus there is a lot in my mind right now... I just need some space from the others. I'm sorry I'm leaving you alone...", I looked away while talking.

"What you didn't know? One of the first years was meant to tell you! But well guess I can't do much about. I will be waiting for you if you decide to come back!", she tried so hard not to cry and walked off faster then I could even say good bye or something...

In the gym hall I watched the boys train, but Oikawa was late today, very late. That was not like him at all.

He also wasn't focused and because of the he nearly tripped, I kind of would have loved to see that, but only if he wouldn't have hurt himself meanwhile.

That behaviour went on for two more days until he had gotten himself a harmless knee injury, but still a few days he wouldn't be allowed to practice or make any sport.

I think something changed inside him in that time. He kind of looked depressed...

I didn't want to get to much in his private life and all, so I didn't talk to him that day.

The next day we ran into eachother in the hallway and bumped together. I accidentally let my books fall, but he was kind enough to help me pick them up.

"Thank you, Oikawa", I smiled at him.

He nodded: "No problem"

He tried to walk away but I asked something: "Hey, are you okay? I won't make you talk about it, but if you need someone and don't know where to go to, you can come to me."

"Thank you, Y/N", somehow in that moment I could see his eyes sparkle brightly. A small smile appeared and we both walked to our next lesson.

Oikawa wasn't at practice today because of his injury, but I believe there is more to it than just that...

I got out my phone and decided to text him.

Y/N
Hey Oikawa! Are you alright?

Oikawa
I'm fine, why are you asking?

Y/N
Just worried, thought you would still come and watch so that I won't be lonely on the bench😀

Oikawa
Sorry, didn't think you wanted my company

Y/N
Better than no company at all...

Oikawa
Sounds like you just need me because you're bored😔

Y/N
Didn't mean it like that. I would like your company, besides it's no fun right now...

Oikawa
Tsk... whatever...

It was true that practice was bored when Oikawa wasn't there. The play fights between him and Iwa were always amusing me.

Besides watching him play was also amused, well he couldn't play for a week or so currently and I would never say such things in his face.

I was currently at the point where I loved staying with the boys and watch them play, they even appreciated my tips. Going back to my own team scared me. I think they probably hate me very much if they don't even tell me they have a practice match.

Momoke had told me earlier that they have a practice match tomorrow. I still have mixed feelings about going.

Practice slowly came to an end I went to get a little snack with the third years mostly and one second year as well as two first years.

I was still thinking about tomorrow and Oikawa, earlier he sounded like he was trying to hide something. I think I should check on him again tomorrow.

I've slept horrible that night, I kept waking up from nightmares. In the end I got up early and studied a bit.

School was as boring as always.

After school I pulled myself together and went to the gym hall from the girls.

Momoke ran towards me and hugged me, we nearly fell over. Coach smiled at me and didn't seem angry or anything. The others didn't even notice I was there.

Their practice match was a complete disaster!

Their coordination was off and no one except Momoke was really focused. Damn next year will be though for them...

It was pain to watch them after everything was cleaned up I talked to coach.

I told her that I'll leave the club so that the second and first years can start over and pull themselves together. It would be even more chaos if I was to come back.

It hurt me very much but it was better for them. Well now I'm gonna spend most of my days with the boys then.

I had nearly forgot to check up on Oikawa before I had pumped into Iwaizumi.

"Oh sorry Y/N, hey, could you do me a favour?", he looked down on me with a serious expression I have never seen on him before.

"Sure what is it?", I asked.

"Oikawa seems to be feeling bad because of his injury and he hates when I see him weak. Could you try your best and go to his house and check up on him?", he was very considerate about his best friend.

I nodded my head: "I wanted to check up on him anyway but I need his address..."

Iwa explained the way and then I was already on my way. Soon I stood in front of a very pretty house, a little smaller than mine but way more cozy, it's exactly the house Iwa had described to me.

I walked to the front door and rang on the bell...
